I have a regular version surveillance camera system (Non PoE) which the wires are very thick. and due to thick wires and loose connection from the camera, they didn't survive after a year. The camera kept going off and the mainbox get overheated, so I started looking for a replacement. I decided to give 5MP PoE cameras and picked this set. The package came with well protections on each camera. The condition is New. The wires are Ethernet cables. They are so light weight and easy to wire them around my house. One hole fits all 4 ethernet cables. They also come with white little knobs which cover the cable connection points. they are fully sealed so works great on outdoor. Very east to setup. Unlike my old one, there are only 6 wires that I need to attach to the box. I was able to get everything wire under 1 hour. I changed all my settings to highest resolution. Because of 5MP Cameras, the images are super clear. It plays pretty smooth even though fast motion under the camera. Lastly, I get almost same quality of images on my iPhone as well. No lag/delay. I plugged everything up and verified multiple times that all cameras were plugged up correctly and no picture is shown on the tv. It shows where the picture from each camera would show but when looking in the settings it doesn’t even recognize cameras are plugged up to it. The wire from the camera is flashing so I know it is correctly connected. I don’t know why this isn’t working. ... show more

I got this camera for the price vs a nest camera, is very good quality. But the motion detection is a little too active. As rain or snow will constantly tell you there’s motion. With the constant motion triggers. It makes it almost impossible to scan through your footage. Plus, when looking through playback footage. You have to pick a time point. And hit play, it will load and then play. If compared to nest, you can just scan through live footage very easily. The cameras are fantastic for the price with No monthly subscription. But if spoiled by a nest camera. You may be disappointed by some things ... show more

Had problems logging the systems on. Was unable to talk to any one, email support only which was BS. No phone support whatsoever ever. Finally sent a contact number several days later. I had already returned it. Product may have been good, but I don’t know because I could never talk to anyone. Should have known. Buy American! ... show more
