This tent is everything I wanted and more! Truck: 2018 Chevy Colorado 5’2” bed So far I’ve used it 3 times, once in heavy winds on the beach (30+ mph gusts) and it’s been amazing. Setup is easy. Going slow, it’ll take about 45 seconds to be sleep ready. In under 3 minutes you can have the rain fly attached (4 straps attach at the bottom) and the windows up (2 windows and front door. Breakdown is just as easy, just a bit more time to ensure everything is tucked in tight. The hardcover pulls down easily I looked at nearly every tent on Amazon and more before deciding. I didn’t want a soft cover because I didn’t want to deal with any potential issues in Norteast Winter. Size. Myself and 2 smaller kids (9/12) slept comfortably inside. I checked floor plans and this offered the largest width that’ll fit my truck! Features. Plenty of pockets inside and out outside pockets great for shoes. Inside pockets are small but can keep wallet, phone and more from getting lost. The included LED light uses minimal power (small rechargeable USB power pack needed). Blackout! When zipped up, inside is totally dark!! You can allow air to flow with screens or even stare at the stars from the skylight 100% waterproof! Retractable safety bar included to ensure struts don’t fail. Mattress is comfortable. I added a topper because I had 1 for our spare room we never used. The ONLY negative is walking up the ladder barefoot. My kids, no issue at all with it. Me, it hurt a bit (not much to really complain about). Overall, I’m beyond happy with my purchase. My boys and I love spending a night or 2 on the beach and this San Himi makes it easy and comfortable! I would 100% recommend to my friends. ... show more

    • This is a great Tent!

I originally bought this tent nearly a year ago, and I must say it's worth it! My girlfriend and I took it out about a dozen times last summer, and we both really enjoy it for camping and scenic picnic dates. It's very open inside and can fit all our stuff inside without a problem. The pockets it provides on the back wall are super convenient, too. The tent is durable and lightweight, which makes driving and camping in it super nice. I drive a '23 Subaru Crosstrek Sport, and my car can handle the extra weight no problem, with a slight dip in the MPG, but that's about it. I poured a bunch of time and research into making sure I was getting what I wanted, and this nailed the spot. Customer service has also been great. I had a part break on me during a driving incident, and I currently have the part I need on the way. The only thing I would've done differently would be the "Skylight." I wish it were a plastic material for nighttime so I could look at the night sky without the chance of rain getting in, but after thinking about it, the plastic would probably turn into a magnifying glass, which wouldn't be very good. So I honestly can't complain. I also wish I had pulled the trigger on this one sooner instead of wasting my time that could've been used to camp in it. Packaging was great for shipping on a large item. Easy installation on my 2019 Ford Expedition. Easy setup. Good quality. Recommended to a friend of mine and he bought it as well. The bad, when putting away the tent in the hard shell it takes 2 people to ensure all of the fabric gets tucked into the sides. The other thing is that the mattress is a little thin. We bought a 3 inch mattress topper to add to the cushioning. Great tent for the money. ... show more

We recently upgraded to the Sanhima Rooftop Tent Hard Shell (Jervis Overland) for our van, and it has completely transformed our camping experience. As a small family of three who loves weekend getaways and off-grid adventures, this tent checked all the boxes—and then some. Setup is a breeze. Flip the latches, lift the lid, and you’re basically done. It literally takes a couple of minutes, and the included ladder is sturdy and easy to extend. We really appreciate the low-profile design—at just under 12 inches, it adds almost no wind resistance while driving, which makes highway travel smooth and fuel-efficient. Sleeping in it feels like staying in a cozy, mobile treehouse. The stargazing window is magical—we laid back and watched the stars peek through on a clear night, and the ventilation kept the interior cool and fresh. The mesh windows do a great job keeping out bugs (mosquitoes didn't stand a chance), and there's enough airflow that we never felt stuffy, even with the three of us inside. Comfort-wise, it delivers. The foam mattress with anti-condensation mat is way more comfortable than any sleeping pad we’ve used before. Plus, the light-blocking silver lining is amazing for sleeping in—we weren’t forced out of bed at sunrise like in our old tent. It stays cooler inside during the day too, which is a huge bonus if you’re camping in warmer climates. Storage is clever and thoughtful. There are pockets everywhere for storing phones, flashlights, and snacks, and even a ceiling net that held our lightweight jackets and a small quilt. The built-in LED strip gives just the right glow at night without being overpowering, and the shoe bags on the outside help keep things tidy. Overall, it’s an incredibly well-designed, sturdy, and comfortable rooftop tent. The waterproofing and UV protection stood up to both rain and sun on our recent trip without issue. Easy to install. Will need a couple of people to hel0. Its 150 lbs. Watch YouTube videos they help. Easy to setup and tear down. When using at night it will develop condensation on the inside If you have time, air it out before you teardown your site. If not do it when you get home. Matress pad is this. Suggest twin size gel pads or what ever your comfort level is. The pads will not fold up inside. Use the twin size pads so you can roll up like your sleeping bag. Enjoy. ... show more
