I am reviewing the "Sangcon 800W Blender for Shakes and Smoothies with 57 Oz Glass Jar & 10 Oz Grinding Cup, Blenders and Food Processor Combo for Kitchen with 2 Speeds + Pulse, 6 Fins Blade & Grinding Blade" This is a cute and functional blender! I love it on my counter as well! It has a very powerful (and loud, but to be expected) motor and crushes that ice in a flash! It comes with 2 different detachable blade bases. A 2 leaf "grinding" blade base (for like ice and nuts and things like that) and then a 6 leaf "blending" blade base (for your milkshakes and things of that nature)! There is also a grinding cup which is cool, that you can grind things in a smaller cup to make it easier! The pitcher is a 57 oz (1700 ml) which is labeled as an XL pitcher, but it actually only looks average to me and is a bit smaller than my last blender... but its still pretty big, just not XL in my opinion. I would recommend this blender, it is quite nice and cute on the counter! ... show more

I got this appliance to replace a 12 year old good name brand blender that was half the wattage. It still worked, but it was ugly and bulky, and had so many unnecessary tiny buttons. This blender packs a lot of power in a small footprint. The look is a pleasing retro style with a classic simplicity. You turn the knob to select the speed, 1 for blending and 2 for chopping. As you blend, you push down on the lever to pulse as desired. Done so fast, I haven't had to mind the warning about letting the motor rest after one minute. Bamm, smoothy is ready! I haven't tried the grinder speed and smaller cup yet, but I expect it will also chop nuts in a flash. I have no regrets taking my old blender to the charity shop. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I received this blender I found on Amazon about 3 days after I ordered it which was nice. After opening it and cleaning it I used it for the intention I bought it for, Making smoothies. When I placed the full size mixing container on top it was very apparent that this was a bit too heavy. The base seems to be made of a lighter weight material the glass container. The motor is powerful and it does a great job when I use it I just feel I don’t want to walk away from it while it blending just in case the motion allows it to fall over. ... show more

This blender has a ton of power.I create a variety of foods, such as hummus, dressings, butter, and iced smoothies, and this appliance's blades and power have never let me down. I adore that I can start out at a modest speed and gradually increase it once the ice has begun to break down. Very diligent machine. There are two distinct removable blade bases included. A 6-leaf "blending" blade base followed by a 2-leaf "grinding" blade base for things like ice and nuts and stuff like that is what you need. In order to make things easier, there is also a nice grinding cup that allows you to grind items in a smaller cup. It deserves 4.5 ⭐️Stars. I hope you find this review and video/pictures helpful. I'm pleased to have discovered that the mixer section is constructed of heavy-duty glass, which is uncommon these days. This blender is by far the best I've ever used. The media could not be loaded. My only complaint is that the owners manual is very limited. The lever on the right side is a “ pulse” lever. You have to hold it all the way down to get it to pulse. It took care of the ice , I made a milkshake. It’s fine for my needs
