First off, the price is right so I after I bought mine, I got one for my husband. The batter life is fantastic. One plus is the reversible plug USB Type-C cable charger, can also be used for your newer smart phone or tablets with the same outlet. It is a fast charger for either device. The screen is not perfect for video but when you go full screen it is good. I have been watching shows on it and the sound is fantastic. It is super fast, when you are doing regular browsing, social media, etc. I don't like that there is no delete key or cap lock but I figured it out. My printer didn't work with it, a Canon 2522 but my new HP prisma worked immediately. I love the big screen and it is very light weight. It has an ear phone jack and USB printer outlet and an extra one on the other side to charge your phone if you have an extra one. It does not come with any USB cables for printers, so keep your old one. ... show more

I bought this version for my father after he complained about viruses and antivirus software and all those persistent companies that put them on your computer to sell you the cure, I then liked it so I bought a more beefed up version for myself. So I'll write what he liked about this version. No worries about updates interrupting your use, no malware or antivirus pop-ups. It is super fast! The touchpad is super sensitive and 'clicks' items all the time when you're simply trying to scroll. You have to use two fingers to do so since there is no buttons to right click or left click. you can drag by pressing down on the touchpad though. Chromebooks can be tricky when finding printers that'll work with them so keep that in mind. The advertisement makes it out like the screen will blow your mind when you see it. It looks like a normal screen and there's nothing impressive whatsoever about it, although it is the advertised size. ... show more

Great screen size and great performance is the headline for this Chromebook. This is used mainly for streaming content. At this it exceeds all expectations. It doesn't seem to get overly warm and the battery life has been above average to average, with a larger screen I expected this. This isn't touchscreen and is not a reversible keyboard but screen size was paramount here not tablet ability. It's quick and responsive, I'll admit I'm still a PC user and as such I keep trying to right and left click on the touch pad and that's a no go as it's single button so no copy and paste from the touchpad which is unfortunate for me as I prefer that to key combos. Regardless of this small niggle everything else is good and I'm expecting to get a good few years out of this then repurpose it after that! Having to do again I think I'd opt for touchscreen and a reversible keyboard. But for what this is, it's a great product. The screen is quite thin so be careful! ... show more

I really like this laptop. I did not know that to plug in my speakers and copier Id need a USB C to VGA HDMI MultiPort Adapter, USB C Hub (5 in 1), with 4K HDMI VGA Port, 100W Power Delivery, USB 3.0 Data Port, 3.5mm Mic/Audio Jack. But Amazon had that also and I ordered it and expect it tomorrow. I guess Im not up on what changes have been made since my last new laptop 2 years ago. I like the screen size and how thin this laptop is also light to carry around . Id tell my friends to get one. ... show more

Received my Samsung Chromebook today. Looks nice, set up was a breeze and I am enjoying it to the max. A note of caution for those who have too many passwords, etc. Have a list for ALL of your pass words handy. It will save you some time during set up. This computer works great for email use and is EXCELLENT for internet browsing. However, I have not been able to effectively use it for much else. In fact, something as simple as downloading photos from your iPhone to this computer is apparently impossible. I tried for hours, followed instructions found online, and ultimately read some online articles stating that you can't download photos from an iPhone to a chromebook. If this is actually false....congratulations to Samsung and Chrome for making it extremely difficult.....just like everything else on this computer besides email and internet. I bought it to work from home but had so many problems that I took it to work to seek guidance from my IT people who laughed at the thought of me trying to use this for work. Excellent for internet...it works better than any other computer I have owned for this function.......EXCEPT that the browser is incompatible at times. 1 star for any other function that you easily do on your laptop but will struggle like heck to do with a Chromebook. 1 star for sometimes inexplicably turning off and being very difficult to turn back on. 1 star for only having one standard USB port. Have fun managing with only one USB. 1 star for Chrome problems: No cut and paste (you have to use control c=control v--what a hassle, Spell check rarely works, lots of other quircks. Don't buy a chromebook. Does not support spell check. (as you can see in this submission). Words are underlined in red but they won't correct if you click them nothing happens. JUNK. UPDATE: Finally threw it in the trash where it belongs. Such an erratic computer. Shuts off for no reason. Difficult to restart. Hit and miss regarding when it will work or not. Internet browsing was unstable.....it would open some sites and not others. ... show more

For what we are using it for, it is wonderful and performs flawlessly. Samsung did not have the 15.6" with the 6 Ram in-stock on their website and I stumbled upon this on Amazon (used, like-new).
