Nothing but good things to say here! I was hesitant to buy a home theatre sound system in a box because years ago when these “sound in a box” systems began to come out they were incredibly lackluster & disappointing. After doing a bunch of on line research & watching a bunch of audio system review videos I decided to give this system a try & WOWIE ZOWIE I AM BLOWN AWAY!!! The system itself took about an hour to set up & was incredibly easy for this non tech savvy guy to accomplish. The first movie I played to test it out was SW episode IV. The opening scene with the rebel blockade runner being chased by the Star destroyer was so intense I felt like I was four years old again watching it in the theatre. My wife was upstairs & knew I had successfully hooked up the sound system because she came downstairs & said “I can feel that through the floor”…..I only had it turned up to 22 ha ha haaa. That being said though this system may not be for everyone, if you’re a true audiophile looking for a system to fill a large home theatre area you probably want to buy the speakers & amp & all that separately. If you live in an apartment building or condo you may not be able to enjoy the full power of the system without generating noise complaints from your neighbor ha ha ha. But, if you are looking for a one & done everything you need in a box sound system that’s easy to hook up & has more than enough power to fill a small to medium or medium/large home viewing area then I can confidently say you will not be disappointed with this!

I originally purchased a Samsung HW-Q59CT but is had very low sound and no bass with sub woofer. May have been are furbished or previous customer bad return, so I returned for a refund. I then purchased this Samsung Q600C and it is night and day difference! You can definitely feel the sub woofer watching a movie like Top Gun Maverick! Shakes the room! Lol Sound is amazing!!! I highly recommend it!!!

First of all this system is an upscale from all the sound bars I’ve tested. Went from the 800 to the 990b to this 990c. The B was okay but had a stickie remote and lacked bunch bass punch. Would have been better with more bass. Front was a bit too thin sounding as well. 990b was better but never got to test drive the sub or the rears. The box lacked several items. Remote and rear power cables. Center sounded ok but who knows as I could not set the whole system without a remote or rears. Never will I buy an open box or a refurb on a high ticket item again. Now this 990c had its problems as well. Would not connect via HDMIeArc at first. I did everything with wire one would do to trouble shoot this system by the book. Which it next to useless as it turned out. Got it to work via Bluetooth but a no go on the rears. I have hooked up hundreds of systems in my time. Home theater was a specialty of mine. At the time HDMI was still on the drawing board. I have up and called Samsung Tec support. We shut everything off as I had done already started from scratch if you will. He step by step walked me through the same things I had done several times. And boom! It just started working. Had to do none of the mumbo jumbo pairing crap the book told me to do. It just did most of the stuff by its self. It was a short call and who knows why it just started up and ran after 10 attempts. The q-series and the all speakers tv and bar sounds as good as one would would hope. Everything is well balanced and not too thin sounding like most bar systems. I’m not sure it worth what they are charging but its impressive. It’s no I-Max sounding but it does a fine job filling an average room. Plenty of low end punch. May do an update after I play with the EQ settings some. Bottom line here is. Connect all the wires up on the bar to the Tv with everything off. Turn it all on then and it will pair its self. At least it did while he was on the phone. I can’t help but feel like he was in the background remotely doing things. Once he got all my info pertaining my Samsung account. You will need this already set up BTW. Unless your not running a newer tv. Either way. It has the sound of home theater. Rivaling what once took several more wires and cost way more. Great sound at the price of being persistent to get it to run. Everyone has their own equipment so setup may be different on all of them. The 77S95c is my screen. I’m digging it as well.

I really wanted to like this soundbar. It seems to be the only Samsung answer to a high quality Bose or Sonos system. I will say the sound is impressive when it works. I thought a wireless connection to my Samsung TV would be no brainer, however, the connectivity issues have been so consistently bad for about 6 months of ownership. It doesn’t matter how good the audio is if it won’t pair with the TV. I started out using WiFi pairing but that was hit or miss. Every time I turned on the TV it would struggle to connect and sometimes it would just fail completely forcing me to listen to the built in TV speakers (not good). Then I switched to the bluetooth pairing and that was not much better. Bottom line is the product sounds great but don’t rely on the wireless connection feature. Kind of a bummer because now it looks like I’ll have to run a hard wired optical connection through my wall to get a reliable experience.

Great sound, easy setup. You need to use an HDMI cord and e-ARC outlet on your Samsung TV (maybe other brands) to get the most out of this. The sound difference between soundbar only and soundbar+TV is noticeable and an improvement. Nice looking unit as well. Very satisfied.
