I purchased the Galaxy S8-plus to replace my 5 year old Tab 10.4 (AMOLED) tablet. Wanted to go larger. Didn't want to give up the AMOLED display. Didn't want to spend $1000. I finally decided on the S8 generation because you're not really giving up much and can save several hundred dollars. I love the Galaxy S8+ because of the huge, crisp, dynamic display...because it's super fast and responsive...it's thin. I was a little surprised by the weight...but OK...12.4" device must weigh more. I bought a super thin BT keyboard, a thin protective folding case and a padded carry case. It's a great setup. The only gripe I can think of is that the "power down" button press is "pwr" and "vol down" buttons and they must be pressed almost exactly at the same time. I often miss the first try. Purchased this refurbished nearly 2 years ago now and it's still working just like it did on day 1. I honestly forget that I even purchased it refurbed. Performance was excellent, condition was excellent with no dents or dings, came with the original S Pen. Still maintains a charge, especially in standby, for an insane amount of time as I will go through periods of non use and a few weeks later I'll turn it on and it will still have a decent charge. ... show more

This is how it came in "excellent" condition. I wouldnt call it that, but it came with the real pen, the screen didnt have and scratches and besides the ding. Its not awful. I would say 3/5. Ill give it 4 to be nice/because the pen was authentic.

I am so grateful for this company, I am a nursing student so I don't have alot of money to put on an expensive ipad and MacBook, I needed something that I could use as tablet but also ran windows for the nursing exam softwares that I pads can't handle. I found samsung tab was the best choice for this but it was no less than $800. The product came in brand new looking, no scratched or anything, I even got to pick a pretty pink color. It came with original S Pen!! Just not the same color as the tablet but I was even scared ot wouldn't come with it so I'm happy. The best part? It came with a extra super fast charging box? I didn't even know that was a thing and it's original samsung charger too!!! AMAZING it charges my tablet and phone in less than 30 min. Buyer beware. Device looked absolutely amazing, no scratches, dings and very clean, but once we powered the device and started the set up process the device started crashing. Now it just keeps crashing. We did a factory reset and now we can't turn it on because it just keeps crashing upon start up. We contacted Amazon for product support and they said they couldn't help us, all we they can do is start the process for a refund. Refund is nice and all but we would prefer to have the device we bought in working order as the product description implied. Excellent condition and in great working order.
