The 11” screen is a good size, performance is smooth, and the quad speakers sound surprisingly good for a tablet. Storage has been enough for everyday use, and setup was easy.     • Basically a Smart Rectangle That Stole My Heart
Let me start by saying I did not need a Samsung Galaxy Tab. I was doing just fine with my duct-taped redecessor with it's cracked screen. But then I met this sleek, seductive piece of tech wizardry, and now I wonder how I ever lived without this multitasking sorcerer in my life. It’s light enough to carry around, but heavy enough that if someone tries to steal it, I could theoretically fling it like a frisbee of justice. The display? It’s so crisp and colorful that I now refuse to watch Netflix on anything else, including my actual TV. Even the lock screen is prettier than my yearbook photo. The battery life is disturbingly good. I charge it once and forget for two days that electricity even exists. I’ve used it to stream, draw, write a half-baked novel, accidentally open 73 Chrome tabs, and still have enough juice left to watch three hours of boxer dog TikToks. I am now watching YouTube tutorials on how to fold fitted sheets while actively not folding them. Peak productivity. My only complaint: it hasn’t yet made me coffee. I believe this is a software update Samsung can address in the near future. Bottom line: this tablet is the closest thing to holding the future in your hands. Get one. Or don’t. But know that every moment without it is a moment you’re watching Boris the Boxer in glorious HD. ... show more

I bought this used from Amazon and I can tell you it does a fine job as a security monitor using the frigate open source solution. This sucker sits in my kitchen where I spend a lot of my time. And I can see people in key locations when they approach my home. This tablet is also highly recommended by the community who use the frigate security solution.     • Received Old Tablet instead of New. Returned It.
I was disappointed with this purchase because the tablet I received did not appear to be new. The outer packaging showed signs of having been opened previously, and some of the protective materials that are normally included with a new device were either missing or improperly applied. There were also fingerprints and minor cosmetic marks on the tablet that made it seem like it had been handled before being shipped to me. As for the device itself, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is a capable tablet with a large display and decent speakers for media consumption. However, it's difficult to evaluate the overall value when the condition of the product upon arrival does not match expectations for a new item. When purchasing a product listed as new, I expect factory-sealed packaging and a device that has not been previously used or returned. Receiving a tablet in questionable condition was frustrating, especially for a product from a well-known brand. I may have simply received an isolated return or fulfillment error, but based on my experience, I would recommend carefully inspecting the tablet upon arrival and verifying that all accessories, packaging, and protective materials are present and in new condition. ... show more
