Nice TV. Easy to set up if you have a Samsung account, otherwise all you get is the wheel of death after you go to the link provided and then you have to use the remote to set it up. Still not easy. I have seen this set in person and the picture quality is really impressive, all things considered. Unfortunately, Mine arrived with a cracked screen. The Amazon return was painless and they came to the house to pick it up. I ended up purchasing one locally and can attest to the picture quality. To our eyes, the picture looks the same as the Samsung QLED & OLED models despite what the reviews say. It has great image quality and color with plenty of brightness for our room. The reviews have made much of it lacking an optical audio output port, but it has Bluetooth audio output - for @$20 a SUYEE Bluetooth 5.3 Receiver for Home Stereo pairs easily with the TV and provides optical audio to our surround system. We wanted a Samsung due to past experiences and this TY is the best yet . . . ... show more

    • Best picture in a TV that I’ve ever seen in my 68 years. About the sound.

I’ve never seen color so true as I have on this TV. The two flat screens that I’ve tried the colors are either too red or they’re faded out. This is perfect. And very sharp. About the sound. Some people don’t like it. I have what it’s called. ‘Golden ears’. I’d make an audiophile blush. I hear sounds that the average human being cannot. It’s a proven fact. I scored second highest when we had a music aptitude test in the fifth grade in the city that I grew up in. That’s said, I find the speakers more than adequate. Now smaller size TVs made by Samsung or anyone else, they obviously have smaller speakers. But these are quite good. Give you an idea of what type of audio system I have, two speakers that I have are BMW 805. They cost approximately $9500 for the pair. And I have handmade Klipsch from the 1990’s. And while obviously the TV speakers are not anywhere near this range, they’re more than adequate for the average person. ... show more

    • Pay Attention! Awesome Price for the Size but...

I'm torn between giving this tv 3 or 3.5 but half stars are not an option so 3 it is. Price value - a lot of good tv from a proven brand. 75" UHD under $700 before taxes and shipping is 5 star worth! Picture quality - because Samsung includes some nice screen colonization presets you will be happy with an UHD model. Honestly I notice most people don't notice if you have a QLED or OLED screen. Doesn't matter if the refresh rate isn't good. Samsung has good refresh rates just remember every thing you watch isn't the best option for the presets. 4 stars Set-up - This is where Samsung fails miserably and I know why they chose to do it but not everyone will like it. The mandatory QR Code set-up is unnecessary. People want to simple plug in their game system or external streaming devices and enjoy themselves. But no Samsung wants you to have an account under the guise of syncing all of your other Samsung gadgets. I have no need for my watch nor my phone to be synced to my tv. No optical audio output is a bad move as well. You will lose some sound features because of this. TOO INTRUSIVE! .25 Star Operating System - well it's a "smart" tv so it does have an OS. It can be a bit sluggish. Compared to my 85" Samsung OLED the speed is noticeable but not painful. It does have preset app option that gets imported automatically from your other Samsung TV if you choose to do that. Convenient but still intrusive as all my TVs in my home are used for separate viewing experiences. 4 stars Sound - again this is not a deal breaker but it's to be considered. The speakers are not bad and most brands don't put a lot of effort into this due chasis thickness and most people will use a sound bar. I highly suggest you get a sound bar it only allows Bluetooth connection to do it. 2.5 stars Beware when ordering this TV via Amazon because I found out the hard way by not reading enough of the comments. This tv is often delivered damaged. Mine was not damaged via delivery but it was repackaged damaged and sold to me. Mind boggling! The screen was cracked but the box was intact. Meaning the tv was intentionally resold damaged. It had red sticker tags on it and was missing the top screen support corner brackets. I did not want a refund. I wanted a replacement and had to sit on the phone for a bit to get that done. They gave me a bit of a run around and pushing for me to get a refund and I had to elevate the issue. The quality of the TV is excellent, especially for the price. The smart programming is sophisticated and extensive, focusing on channels and programs relevant to the viewer's interests. Setting up and navigating the homepages was somewhat complicated and confusing because of all the choices, but after working through that process, it is very convenient to have most of my preferred programs conveniently available.
