  • By Far, the Best Samsung, and TV Ever!
Size: 55 in Style: TV Only
I recently purchased the Q90t (last years M model) and loved it but it had some quirks, such as sound skipping every once in a while. Tons of forums on the topic. I read all the reviews and specifications on the QN90A and couldn’t wait to see if the hype was real. OMG... there is a night and day difference from the Q90T compared to the new QN90A. The new Neo QLED and twice as fast HD processors, seemed worth a try, so I Pre-ordered. Hooked it up today with my Dish Network and holy smokes, the picture is so noticeably better. The colors, the depth, the clarity and sound is so profoundly better and vivid. It is difficult to take my eyes off the screen. Even commercials. It enhances everything to 4K even if it’s not. A review is not enough, you have gotta see it in person. I highly recommend this tv and I can say it is the best tv ever! ... show more

  • Top LED but top TV?
Size: 55 in Style: TV Only
The Samsung QN90A is suppose to be consumers best hope of getting an OLED like tv with more peak brightness without the fear of burn in. While it's pretty 😍 on a lot of content and gaming is pretty vibrant, Samsung hasn't fixed some of the issues that plagued their models from 2020. Blooming and dirty screen effect (DSE) are still present on this 55" model and I'm left feeling pretty sour for a $1800+ tv purchase. The solar remote is a nice upgrade, knowing you have a 50/50 chance that your remote is charging on a table or couch. Samsung has been my favorite remote for years with their simple yet solid Bluetooth "clicker" Overall, it's likely going to remain a top QLED this year but with some really good OLED tvs on the market, you have to pick your poison. Fear burn in? Or take a tv like this out of the box with some flaws that Samsung hasn't been able to correct? Many owners may be able to overlook the flaws for the amazing brightness and color but the LCD tv remains problematic with the blooming and quality control on these somewhat dirty screens. ... show more

  • Worth it for me
Size: 55 in Style: TV Only
Coming from a 2017 oled from LG. It had a great picture, despite tweaking the screen saver to come on at the earliest time frame of inactivity the TV had awful burn in from my use of the onboard Youtube app. Play buttons burned into the lower right hand corner, upper left, etc. It began to look horrible. LG support was no help, even if I offered to pay for repairs (new panel replacement). So I was disappointed to say the least. So now I am in a position where I need a TV that does not burn in, but still doesn't disappoint visually after coming from an OLED (which really do have amazing contrast levels, and decent brightness). This TV fits the bill. 2000 nits of brightness vs 600 I think on the oled. The brightness is amazing. The black levels are as good as oled so far, indistinguishable to me. The youtube app which gets a lot of use is snappy, and better than the LG one as the thumnails play a preview of the video before clicking. This was really important to me. The picture is beautiful, vivid, and clear. It's heavier than the LG I had, but only because the stand is robust and of good quality. It is thin profiled, and the screen is glossy. The remote control is solar powered and usb c chargeable. Easily the best remote I have ever seen or used. I'm not sure why I strayed from Samsung with my last TV (Oled technology captivated me) but I wish I never did. ... show more

  • Warranty nearly worthless. No parts or support from Samsung
Size: 75 in Style: TV Only
Our $3500 TV formed a dark spot about 2 months in. I followed up with Samsung to get it repaired or replaced under warranty. They followed up telling me that they didn't have the part for the repair and that they couldn't send me a replacement, Or an upgrade to another model. They could only offer me a refund. Mind you the TV was in-stock on their website. The initial refund offered was over $1000 less than what I paid, and the price listed on samsung.com It felt like a scam. That being said I produced the receipt and they were willing to match what I paid. Samsung would not pay to have someone unmount and remount a new TV. If I accepted a Samsung.com credit they offered me $13 dollars above what I paid. Doesn't come close to the cost of getting someone to uninstall and reinstall a TV. Nor the back and forth on the matter. I also asked if they could provide some sort of discount for all the admin I had to do to get this refund the answer was no. Oh and to get the refund moving I was asked to unmount the TV and remove the serial number sticker. I don't think I have ever had such a horrible support experience for a premium product. Could not be more disappointed in Samsung. I get that things break. That's okay. I expected that a company like Samsung could get me back to a functioning state without out of pocket expenses. I guess that was too much to hope for. ... show more
