Just had this set delivered and unpacked.. I chose the delivery and unpacking option, which was convenient (and only required perhaps, a solid twenty minutes). Still getting aclimated to this model (particularly since settings are quite a bit different than my older model, which was a 46 inch Samsung. 50 inch was just a bit more suitable for my needs than going with a slightly larger 55 inch model. Colors look considerably better (lol, and they should right?), in comparison to my previous LED model (which I ran continuously, without experiencing any hiccups other than my allowing a screen burn to work itself in). It will require a day or two to get accustomed to the settings layout, obviously, but thus far, I'm quite satisfied overall. Disappointed however, with the remote, because I got used to the luxury of pressing one button to switch back to a previous channel, which this solar cell remote doesn't support (and yes, I've researched all kinds of online 'so-called' solutions to this which haven't worked). No problem with hooking up the Samsung soundbar (that I had purchased for my previous Samsung TV, roughly 5-6 years back) and it works just fine. Price wise, I am comfortable with what I paid and quite glad I took the time to look over a couple dozen similar models (some which were more alluring, but cost considerably more). So far, so good. Update: It's been a couple months now and I'm still very much liking this purchase. This certainly improves (considerably), over my previous 46 inch Samsung tv, making watching television more enjoyable. Still happy with my purchase decision. Took several days to get accustomed to the various settings, which differed from my older Samsung, but that's to be expected. Too bad the remote doesn't have a previous channel button that my previous tv remote had, but it is what it is. I upgraded my older Samsung sound bar to the Q600F and placed it on my electric fireplace directly in front of my tv. Barely had room, but it fits. Unfortunately, the sound bar was just high enough that it interfered with my tv remote. So, I purchased the AX WABER Universal TV Stand (AX10TB02), which was priced nicely, is certainly sturdy to the feel, well packaged and fully capable of holding several size tvs. Installing this stand appears simple and straight forward (you'll need a Phillips head screw driver however). I paused on installing the tv stand because I noted that the two sets of holes on the back of the tv (where you mount the stand's brackets which then attach to the stand's legs), just didn't seem wide enough apart. The tv is roughly 43 inches across yet one pair holes was 16 1/2 inches from the left edge of the tv while the other side was 18 1/2 inches in from the other edge. The spacing between both sets of holes is only 8 1/2 inches apart, which seems kind of odd. One would think that the placement of those holes would have been further apart (i.e. 10 1/2 to 12 inches or so). Though the weight of the tv isn't an issue, the fact that the legs on my tv stand would only be 8 1/2 inches apart (given the width of the tv), kind of raises an eyebrow. The tv's rear side is flat, so why Samsung didn't space the rear holes wider apart seems a tiny bit puzzling. They may do the job as intended, but it still seems odd. In the meantime, I set the tv on a riser to resolve the issue where my soundbar was interfering with my tv remote. Although the riser is 7 inches high (about three inches higher than what I needed), it works. Still very much recommend this tv (and the AX WABER TV Stand (AX10TB02)), as well. ... show more

    • Well Worth The Money.

I got this TV during prime day for $100 off the normal price. I'm not one to watch a lot of TV, but I have to say that what little I do watch is crisp, clean, and enjoyable. Although I measured correctly and it fit easily in the space where it needs to go, it surprised me with its size. What I had not expected was the weight, which made it not only awkward but was a little nerve-wracking to remove from the packaging.. Primarily, for fear of dropping it and busting the screen. I was forced to have someone else remove it from its box, and attach it to the stand I bought to hold it. The legs that are sent with the product are pretty much worthless. I doubt they would keep the TV erect even at the smallest bump or jostling of whatever piece of furniture you set it up on. While I think this TV is capable of being hung on the wall, I wasn't comfortable putting anything of this size on the wall for fear of it becoming dislodged and crashing to the floor. Some reviews mentioned the remote being a problem, I did not find it difficult to turn it over and let the lamp at the side of the couch keep it charged. However I think I might invest in a generic remote control unit to operate it. There are a couple of news channels you can get without cable, but I didn't find them useful. The TV also connects you to free movies, but they have ads, and the time invested doesn't make the shows really worth watching. It's easy to use the buttons on the remote control to get directly to Netflix, Amazon's prime video, and Samsung's movie library. You can also install the remote on your smartphone, but I found that four more awkward to use than the remote that comes with the TV. The operation of the menu on the TV was a a slight adjustment for me, because the TV I had been using was 15 years old, so the difference between the two was like night and day. Overall I am delighted with my purchase, and I highly recommend this product well worth the money. Even if you aren't able to get it on sale, I think that the extra money still makes it a great bargain. ... show more

Small remote works for those looking to save on batteries. The sound quality is good with the best picture mode in my opinion being filmmaker mode with dynamic mode a close second. I love this Samsung 65” TV and I’d say you should avoid it if you need wide viewing angles or Dolby Vision and it’s also not recommended for gamers needing HDMI 2.1 or VRR. I didn’t mind since I knew this was a great upgrade from my 2017 Samsung model for the price and I was not disappointed. ... show more

I ordered this Samsung 65" QLED for delivery on Sunday September 21, but I was notified on Monday September 15 that a delivery company would have it at my house before noon. I am currently having all the bedroom carpets ripped out and replaced with porcelain tile. The delivery company left my TV outside and was preparing to leave. I ran out and said to the driver that I had originally accepted the unpacking inside my house option. I said if you can't show me that it works, then take it back. After talking to their boss, it was agreed that they would unbox and demonstrate the TV would power on and all the pixels were active. It only took a couple of minutes to set-up and prove everything was working as expected. I took time to register and set-up all my apps. The TV automatically signed into my internet and all my apps worked perfectly. I am so happy everything turned out great today. The picture quality is noticeable better than my 1080P 55" 3D Samsung, which I paid $2800 for back in 2013. I have always purchased Samsung over the years and my trust in them remains strong.
