  • Fantastic Television for a great price.
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
For the value of this television you get a good deal of available functions. The picture quality is amazing and is crystal clear and vibrate in color. Has a fast connection through wifi but it's even better when connected via ethernet cable. Remote control is rechargeable by a USB-C cable. Setup was easy, but did take a little while to go through all of the settings. Great value. Only downside I've seen so far is that straight out of the box i had 1 dead pixel (completelyblack), that is fine during the dark screens, but very noticeable on a white or light color. Overall I'd still rate this product as a 4.9 out of 5 star rating. ... show more

  • Well Worth The Money.
Size: 50-Inch Style: TV Only
I got this TV during prime day for $100 off the normal price. I'm not one to watch a lot of TV, but I have to say that what little I do watch is crisp, clean, and enjoyable. Although I measured correctly and it fit easily in the space where it needs to go, it surprised me with its size. What I had not expected was the weight, which made it not only awkward but was a little nerve-wracking to remove from the packaging.. Primarily, for fear of dropping it and busting the screen. I was forced to have someone else remove it from its box, and attach it to the stand I bought to hold it. The legs that are sent with the product are pretty much worthless. I doubt they would keep the TV erect even at the smallest bump or jostling of whatever piece of furniture you set it up on. While I think this TV is capable of being hung on the wall, I wasn't comfortable putting anything of this size on the wall for fear of it becoming dislodged and crashing to the floor. Some reviews mentioned the remote being a problem, I did not find it difficult to turn it over and let the lamp at the side of the couch keep it charged. However I think I might invest in a generic remote control unit to operate it. There are a couple of news channels you can get without cable, but I didn't find them useful. The TV also connects you to free movies, but they have ads, and the time invested doesn't make the shows really worth watching. It's easy to use the buttons on the remote control to get directly to Netflix, Amazon's prime video, and Samsung's movie library. You can also install the remote on your smartphone, but I found that four more awkward to use than the remote that comes with the TV. The operation of the menu on the TV was a a slight adjustment for me, because the TV I had been using was 15 years old, so the difference between the two was like night and day. Overall I am delighted with my purchase, and I highly recommend this product well worth the money. Even if you aren't able to get it on sale, I think that the extra money still makes it a great bargain. ... show more

  • Samsung quality is the best in my book.
Size: 65-Inch Style: TV Only
I ordered this Samsung 65" QLED for delivery on Sunday September 21, but I was notified on Monday September 15 that a delivery company would have it at my house before noon. I am currently having all the bedroom carpets ripped out and replaced with porcelain tile. The delivery company left my TV outside and was preparing to leave. I ran out and said to the driver that I had originally accepted the unpacking inside my house option. I said if you can't show me that it works, then take it back. After talking to their boss, it was agreed that they would unbox and demonstrate the TV would power on and all the pixels were active. It only took a couple of minutes to set-up and prove everything was working as expected. I took time to register and set-up all my apps. The TV automatically signed into my internet and all my apps worked perfectly. I am so happy everything turned out great today. The picture quality is noticeable better than my 1080P 55" 3D Samsung, which I paid $2800 for back in 2013. I have always purchased Samsung over the years and my trust in them remains strong. The $799 price I paid today is amazing. ... show more

  • Great mid-range TV
Size: 43-Inch Style: TV Only
Replaced an older TV in my den where the backlight was failing. Although they were both 4k this TV has much higher brightness and so looks sharper and more vibrant in my sunlit den. The UI is much improved and the remote is rechargeable via a solar panel on the back and USB c. A nice touch. Also love that the remote appear to have RF and Infrared connection so it doesn't have to point directly at the TVs sensor and the addition of mode buttons for YouTube and Prime Video functions I frequently use. The only thing that I would improve it the ability to alter function buttons to replace features I don't use like Netflix with other ones I constantly use like source or Spotify. Lastly the initial setup was involved but provided useful features including restoring profiles and settings from other Samsung devices once I added the TV to my Samsung account. Connections to YouTube and Prime Video were facilitated through QR codes and my phone which is appreciated. A usb keyboard and mouse can be attached, but although they appear to function all the time they are not usable in all applications. i.e. mouse cursor appears and can be moved around in YouTube but it can't be used to select videos or scroll while the keyboard can be used to enter search criteria, both work as expected in the Internet browser making browsing much easier. UI is reasonably performant though occasionally there are delays when starting a new app or switching between apps. Would absolutely recommend this tv particularly if you are already invested in the Samsung ecosystem ... show more

  • Samsung does it again.
Size: 55-Inch Style: TV Only
Samsung has done it again! I now have four Samsung TV's and I must say that the features just keep growing. The picture quality is amazing on this set. Setup was a sinch as it seemed do do everything before I could even get ready to. There is one feature that I didn't really care for, even though I'm getting used to it, and that's the remote. I've seen other reviews that mention this as well. It's small in your hand and doesn't have the usual channel buttons. I'm not sure this is really a bad thing, it maybe I, like others have just been brought up with the old style remotes. I'm sure in a few weeks I'll love it, so don't be surprised if it grows on you. This is a great set, I love it, and I'm sure you will too. ... show more
