I was extremely pleased with the bag and how well it held up on my first trip. I read alot of review for these type of bags that said they get ripped and torn after just one use. That was not the case with this Samsonite Travel bag. Three of us had this exact bag on our trip from Baltimore to New Orleans and all three held up great with no issues. Plenty of room for the my bag, shoes and extra close. Very happy so far with this purchase. Will let everyone know if issues develop over the next few years. ... show more

Samsonite has made the BEST travel bag & the price is Outstanding for the product delivered. I have a very large Callaway Golf bag and it was difficult to find any travel bag that it would fit into. It wasn't the base of the bag as it must fit onto any golf cart but the side pouches make it a "professional" bag. However, this deluxe travel bag was almost perfect, the height of the bag was most excellent and the base of my bag was a stretch get it in but with its ample size it finally fit. But, my worse fears were the side pockets fitting...it was a good push and a super strong zipper on the bag that held everything just great. The material is excellent, the zippers were very strong and well made to hold through the rough handling to Mexico & back but TSA & the baggage handlers were the real test yet this Samsonite Golf Deluxe Travel Set bested all of them. I really did not think that I would use the extra bag but it came in handy as any under the seat carry on and the shoe bag fit my big size 13s just fine. I do believe this is the best travel bag set on the market today and the price was most excellent. Thank you Samsonite for a fantastic product!!! ... show more

    • A little smaller than my last samsonite travel bag.

Great bag, well constructed. I bought this to replace a very similar bag set I bought about 10 years ago that finally started to fall apart. It owed me nothing. This one is slightly smaller than the last which has both positives and negatives. The smaller size makes the bag easier to maneuver and seems to stay upright a little easier. The downside of the smaller size is that I can no longer fit a full sized cart bag - I can only fit my carry bag - which is still a full sized bag. There is still room on the sides to stuff in extra balls shoes etc. it’s just not quite as long or wide at the max entrance. The blue color stands out and makes it super easy to spot these bags on the conveyor belt. The new version of the shoe bags has more mesh - which is nice and the new duffle has a shoe section on the side which is also a nice addition. Overall think this a great bang for your buck. Sent golf clubs via FedEx a few times and my clubs have arrived undamaged each time. The bag is still in great shape as well. I do recommend taking the head off your driver and putting it in a pocket of your golf bag prior to putting your bag into the travel bag.

I am very happy with this purchase. I received it (a day late) but in time to use it for my trip. I think the quality of the case is good. One of the initial reasons I bought this travel case was because of the Samsonite name. I thought since they made suitcases that the golf bag would be made to take abuse. The bag is rugged. The other was the price at 99 dollars. You can get bags much cheaper, but the reviews are not good. Also, this came with two other smaller bags. A bonus! ... show more
