Description

Size:8u Samson SRK Pro 19” universal equipment racks are available in four sizes to accommodate any rack mounted gear setup: 8-space (Srkpro8), 12-space (Srkpro12), 16-space (Srkpro16) and 21-space (Srkpro21). All the racks are constructed of commercial-grade cold rolled steel with fully enclosed side panels, as well as adjustable (4-position) front and rear rack rails that offer a highly accommodating maximum depth of 24”. The top and side panels feature perforations for passive ventilation, while the top and bottom panels include knockouts for wiring accessibility. The racks can be set upon the included casters for easy transport or the included rack feet for fixed installation. Either way, these racks can handle a weight capacity of up to 440lb. In addition, their unique steel support bar design allows these racks to work with U. S. Or metric screw thread sizes (hardware included).

There was a problem with this purchase right out of the box. The cross-flange on the bottom and top components was too wide to allow the side panels to seat all the way in. This prevented the screws from being inserted. I had to make 8 cuts with a bandsaw to notch out enough room to allow everything to mesh properly (see photos). Aside from this, I love the rack! It’s well-built and nice looking. I wish the manufacturer supplied front and rear doors as an option, but that’s not a deal breaker. I recommend this product.     • Excellent rack for home network

I ordered the 21U version, but Amazon sent me the 12U version by mistake. I decided to keep the 12U version after Amazon did good for me. This rack is being used for my home network (patch panel and UniFi gear for now). The rack is quite sturdy and heavy duty. I went with the SRK PRO over the regular SRK for the extra depth. Installation was pretty quick and easy with an electric screw driver. Comes with screws for mounting equipment so no need to buy those separate. While this is technically an AV rack, it does well housing my network equipment. The rack did not arrive damaged by UPS like some reviews mention for Samson racks. Overall, I’m very pleased with the rack and would not hesitate to recommend it. ... show more

The Rack is exactly what I hoped for. It assembled with minimal effort, is sturdy and the adjustable depth for the side rail works great. All my equipment fits perfectly. Now ordering the front doors since I was able to set back the front rails. The rack holds 250 pounds of high end audio equipment. I recommend this product. ... show more
