Nice fit and finish. Nice packaging. Has a testing certification. Clean cool quiet power. My only criticism, and this is just me, the cables are flat. Some of the flat cables are too wide to be bound completely with the Velcro management that came with the PC case. I had to add more Velcro to accommodate. I had another SAMA 1000w psu in black, ran great until I sold that machine off. Cables are good, very easy to manipulate and bend which makes installation simple. One thing to note, this has a zero rpm fan profile. The fan will not come on below some set temperature. If you think your psu is broken because the fan isnt on put a heavy cpu/gpu load on and wait a few minutes. The fan will kick on. During regular non-gaming pc use there isnt enough heat in the psu to even get it warm. ... show more

bought a month ago because my PC kept crashing randomly and I thought it was the psu. turns out it was a motherboard setting. psu is still good though, especially for the price. cables weren't the best quality, but the psu is quiet overall. would buy again! after only a month this power supply ended up going out. never herd of the company but others had a good experience. However for me bad buy had to swap it out for some thing else.

    • Quality psu but...
A VERY nice psu. Platinum certified (I checked the certification, good). Very nice modular cables with individually sheathed wires. PCIe cables are single ended (good) but this is a 1kw psu and it only comes with 3 of the PCIe 6+2 cables. I need a 4th for my 2 vid card box and they will not sell u any additional cables. Neither SAMA or Amazon has been able to get me a 4th cable. I offered SAMA to buy an additional 3-pack of them... no go. I'm unwilling to buy another psu just to get the cables. I will have to look elsewhere when I do another 2 vid card build. Too bad as this is really excellent psu. SAMA needs to beef up their US customer support if they wanna be in this market. PS: Found a 12VHPWR mini-12 to 2x 6+2 PCI adaptor for $12... a bit messy but it'll work. ... show more
