I purchased a SAMA XP 850W version in white. My main reasons for purchasing it were: This was the lowest cost fully modular PSU and all the cables and connectors are white. In the box I received: 1x Power supply unit 1x C13 power supply cable (to power outlet) 1x Molex/IDE cable (4x connectors) 2x SATA cables (4x connectors on each cable for a total of 8) 1x 24-pin motherboard cable 2x 8-pin (4+4) CPU cables 3x 8-pin (6+2) PCIe cables 1x 12VHPWR cable 6x Velcro straps 4x #6-32 UNC screws (silver color) 1x Bag for PSU 1x Bag for cables The PSU was well packaged and arrived double-boxed. The SAMA retail box arrived in another SAMA branded brown box. Technically it was triple boxed if you include the Amazon box. The PSU was packaged with foam inserts on both sides, and the PSU itself and the cables arrived in bags. Very nice presentation and packaging for this price-point, on-par with big name PSUs. All cables and connectors (including cable to your power outlet) are all white. The PSU cables are not sleeved and have a texture on the rubber/casing. They are relatively flexible and easy to maneuver in the case. The connector plastic seems a bit more stiff than other PSUs that I’ve worked with. Meaning you may need to be more careful if detaching the retention clip since they may be more brittle. Another thing to mention is the individual wires only have one zip-tie holding the bunch together. You may need or want to add additional ones when cable managing. Both things are minor, but worth mentioning. They do include Velcro straps after all. The PSU runs a Core i5-12600K and RTX 4060 Ti system fine. (The power draw for this computer is only estimated 500W, way within the margin of 850W.) During idle/low loads, the fan is in stop mode, and under load, the fan is quiet. I unfortunately do not have the equipment to conduct electrical testing, etc., but subjectively the unit feels ‘solid’ and high quality, and same for the cabling. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. If you can get this on-sale, definitely worth it!

used this psu in my 7900xtx ryzen 9 5900x build. cables are pretty mid, theyre definitely not my favorite but they werent impossible. runs absolutely flawlessly. extremely good value for my money, im very happy with it.

Psu is quiet even under load, cables are all standard size , super easy to install. After almost 2 years of coping with the unexpected freezes , I decided to change a PSU that i bought used from Amazon refurbished. I was previously using a corsair 850x psu to power a 5800x3d and a amd 7900xtx hellhound. After installing this 1200w PSU and playing all day , i have found the remedy to my problem I will update again if i get the freezing or 90day mark (whichever comes first)

I purchased this Platinum 1200w psu a little over a month ago to replace a fifteen year old 1000w Seasonic. Knock on wood thus far the Sama has lived up to my expectations. Will it continue to do so for as long as my Seasonic? No idea. But at this price it was worth the gamble imo. Sound from the fan is imperceivable and no capacitor buzzing. The Sama is 20% or so lighter in weight and smaller in size when compared to my 1000w Seasonic, which still was working when I decided to replace it due to age. I also use a pure sine wave ups.

The PSU works as expected, with no sound when doing light work. During heavy gaming or deep learning tasks, the PSU may have slight coil whine noise if you are in a very quite envrionment. If you work in an office, you won't hear it at all. It bothers me because I WFH in a very quite neighborhood.

I had another SAMA 1000w psu in black, ran great until I sold that machine off. Cables are good, very easy to manipulate and bend which makes installation simple. One thing to note, this has a zero rpm fan profile. The fan will not come on below some set temperature. If you think your psu is broken because the fan isnt on put a heavy cpu/gpu load on and wait a few minutes. The fan will kick on. During regular non-gaming pc use there isnt enough heat in the psu to even get it warm.

Got the psu yeaterday, its working great and feels premium. got it well packed with all the cables you'll need including the new 40 series graphics card cable . the only thing I can complain about, but I shouldn't cause I've got it at a very good deal, is that the cables connectors are splited.. for example the PciE cables come as a split 6+2 and it is not so comfortable to attach it together to a single 8 pin connector. I hve attached the splitted connctors to one another with zip ties so it kinda solved the issue for me the cables also come in a threads form (I have attached a picture), I feel it's appearance is also less astatic. other than that it is a great solid Psu.
