Ordered up a size and still is incredibly tight to get on and off. My therapist suggested using baby powder to help with issue. (In full disclosure I have larger than average calves.). Otherwise, I like construction and gives good support.

I would agree that the measurements were exact. I got an XL and it’s fits perfect.. only thing is that when wearing it and i have to walk a lot it slides down and i have to adjust it. But other than that it’s wonderful.

I'm a 165lb athletic female I have patella tracking and it helps with that, but I ordered a XL and it was a little to small for my thigh and really tight in the back of my knee. It does restrict the knee flexibility as in bending your knee a little but overall it does what it needs. I wash mine by hand and air dry. It does get smelly and can be hot. Overall it's a Good product! It has lasted almost 2 years with active wear and contact sports wear and tear

My son dislocated his knee before school break. Dr recommended a "j" brace to help keep it stable so we could leave town and have him looked at when we returned from vacation. I grabbed this one, shipped the next day. It's a mirage of straps and the slip on feature is impossible to get on, esp if your knee is swollen. Yes we measured, and followed the video. Ordered a size up and it still wouldn't fit comfortably. Went to Dr and he said it was a wonder we didn't do more damage as thus is not what he called a "J" brace. We were fitted with one there, cost the same as amazon and it's a much much much better product. Only two straps that go around the knee and no slip on feature. Not a great brace for what we needed.

This product can be used on either leg and the buttress can be reversed in either side. This was extremely helpful for me because mine track inward rather than outward which is more rare. These have made a huge difference for me, I can now walk up stairs again! My only critique is they don’t bent well. it’s hard to sit in a chair with your legs straight down. That may not be possible while still providing the support. Either way it gave me the relief and renewed mobility that I’ve been looking for.

I have an MCL tear with recurring lateral dislocation... Causing a fall down the stairs and breaking my arm.. but that's another story This brace is comfortable for all day wear and I was able to put it on one handed after help the first couple times (it's snug at first and loosens up slightly) There have been a few times where I have felt my knee waiver but no falls and for a non prescription brace I think that's pretty darn good
