This thing worked way better than expected. Easy to use, very lightweight, and capable. It was able to cut through 6" branches with ease. it is way more compact than a regular chainsaw. It’s not large enough to be cutting down big trees, but for anything, 8 inches or smaller, I think this thing will work. If this is your only chainsaw for small projects , this is perfect. The package was fairly complete. Decent plastic case, two batteries, a bottle for chain oil, even eye, protection, and gloves. You will need to buy your own chain oil, it did not come with any. This mini chainsaw is perfect size for pruning and yard clean up. Surprisingly. it cuts through pretty thick branches and pretty hard wood. Everything you need is in the box including safety goggles and gloves. Very light weight and quiet operation. Really cool, would buy again.

Really a nice little handy saw to have around. Before having this I was either using a full up gas powered chain saw or on smaller jobs a heavy duty reciprocating saw. This is a great choice for in-between level projects or needs and at a good price and its benefit over say the reciprocating saw, if you've never used one, is the vibration and that the item doesn't need to be as secured to cut through it nice and easy like. Big draw back is battery life and overall power. The batteries didn't last long and I'd dare say that the whole platform could benefit from a little higher amperage from the batteries, say 5A VS 2.1A that I figure this is trying to deliver. ... show more

I have some very unruly rose bushes in my yard that just won't die, leaving me to cut them down every couple of months. I had been doing this by hand but this saw just became my best tool on cutting days. No more hand saws that take forever only to get stuck and leave me exhausted by the time I am done. Do not let the size fool you this is a powerful saw that cuts fast. The only reason I am deducting a star is the batteries. They don't last long at all, I burned through both batteries cutting down 3 rose bushes which only took about half an hour. The saw was not active the entire time but still used up both batteries. It does not come with any bar oil which you have to have to use the saw. It packs cleanly back in the case it comes in and is entirely portable. ... show more
