Bought this seat for an older infant who was outgrowing their bucket seat to travel on airplane + car rental. Pros: slim seat (fit in airplane seat with armrest down), extremely light, no rethread harness adjust, 3 recline positions, open belt path Cons: Did NOT fit rear facing on plane, buckle can be felt behind the fabric, straps were a little wonky and uneven at times, latch seemed to loosen on car rental after getting in and out several times As noted above, this did not fit rear facing on Alaska airlines flight. The seat has 3 reclines. Position 1 is meant for forward facing only--this is the only position that it would fit rear facing on the plane, but a baby cannot sit with it like this (they will be titled very far forward). Luckily our baby is almost 1 year old, tall and heavy, so we just put the seat forward facing for the plane. It was fine rear facing in both car rentals including a very small Chevy Bolt. ... show more

Absolutely hated this carseat. We bought it for our mom's house so she would always have a carseat when she has our kids and if we flew to visit her we would have a carseat and wouldn't have to fly with one. #1 highly aggravating to install and didn't like the way it fit in a truck backseat. No matter how we strapped it down, every turn we made it would tilt over with our son in it. #2 We've had multiple carseats and even rented some when traveling around and this was still the WORST one we've ever had! #3 The cup holder kept falling off so you can really tell the quality of how it's made. The whole seat has a cheap feel. #4 Our child is still Rear facing and it was extremely difficult to get him in and out. #5 When the carseat is Rear facing the tightening strap for the harness was unaccessible. As you can imagine that is very frustrating! I HIGHLY do NOT recommend!!!! ... show more
