Quite impressed with how straightforward the installation was. I did it myself at 35 weeks pregnant. Requires the use of a drill with 7/64 bit and a Phillips screwdriver. I specifically like that they can be switched off so that we're not having to deal with childproof cabinets now, but I also can have them ready to go for when we do need them. Main downside I think is cost, but I happily paid for a quality product from a name I trust.

I love these, very effective. I installed them in my bathroom vanity and kitchen. The little one used to open those doors all the time and with these installed she is unable to do so. I love them because they are invisible to the eye, they get installed behind the doors so you dont see them, when you need to open them you just use the magnet that comes with it and boom. Very very nicely made and would recommend to anyone

These locks are by far the best for baby and toddler proofing any wood door cabinet. We have tried them all and this blasts the rest away. Most of the regular plastic ones are junk and break easily. My 40+ pound 3 year old cannot get past the when properly installed. None of our kids or daycare kids have even budged or damaged the locks in over 6 months TIP almost any decent powered magnet can open it. So if you lose the key you can still get in with another magnet. Aldo don't leave magnets where kids could use them to open it.

Installation is a huge pain (the instructions are unclear at best, completely wrong at worst). I spent a lot of time re-measuring. Installation also requires both a drill with a small bit in addition to a screwdriver if you don't want to wear yourself out given the very small margin of error. The slightest alteration of location can make or break these things. Precision is incredibly important. That said, they work great now that I finally got them installed correctly. My toddler yanks away on cabinets, and they won't budge. I think over the long term I'll forget what a pain they are to install and be glad we have them.

Every video shows that no drilling is required for these products. This particular product requires drilling into the cabinets. But there is nothing on the page stating that drilling is needed. I will be returning this.

Love these! Also like that there is an option to unlock locks so you don't have to use key. Makes it easy when kids are sleeping or playing elsewhere to get things done in the kitchen. Also like they don't open even slightly so fingers can't get smashed.
