These are better than some of the other shoe storage boxes I had. I my sneakers in the garage and I noticed small spider webs forming at the opening. This called for containers. After reviewing many options, I chose these and they turned out better than I expected. Low tops - no problem, but was a bit worried that my high tops would not fit. They did! Guess I'm lucky that they are soft tops. I wear a women's size 11 and had no problem fitting the shoes in the container. There is an audible click when closing the lid. I bought this set to organize my daughter's toys as she has many mini pieces but her room has limited space. She's pretty rough with her toys as she's a little terror! So these boxes are sturdy enough to withstand her throwing things around.

All 12 containers came in perfect shape. No damage at all. The lids fit and attach at the ends. The only disappointment was that the material is much thinner than ones I have had previously from Sterilite. They say made in the USA so I can't blame China. I am disappointed that everything seems to be coming in a lesser quality now days with a bigger price. ... show more

These were just right for my shoes and was able to discard some broken down shoe boxes. Only problem was one of the containers was broken and as would be the case, it was the last container in the stack, I didn't notice until all the containers were used and was too much trouble to return.
