    • Mine was defective
Keypad would only work for about a minute and then died even after trying multiple sets of batteries. Never would open the lock mechanism even when programmed and giving beeps indicating factory code and my custom code were working. Key worked to open and overall it was a good little safe with a double shaft locking mechanism. It would be good for someone who intendeds to just use the two included keys, but I wouldn’t rely on the keypad. ... show more

It takes an act of congress to try to set the code. Even doing what the instructions say to do, it still wouldn’t work. The instructions also made no sense. I was about ready to throw it against the wall. I will be returning this safe and buying a different one elsewhere.
