I would say worth every penny but that probably understates it. I have an HP OfficeJet 8715 and ordered cartridges. They are at %20 - %25 cost of HP and do the same job with ease. As others mentioned I had the HP prompt, mailed to customer service, received replies in minutes. Leo was able to solve the problem super quick. packaging is recyclable, even gloves are provided for installation (they are biodegradable by the way). Honestly great job. Ink was compatible and worked well in the printer. Then it stopped working and after I contacted them they sent me a new set. Haven't received it yet but the customer service was great with rectifying the situation.

I have been an HP person for a long time, but the price of ink really is getting expensive. I purchased 3 combo packs of Smart Ink Compatibles in hopes to save money. Each box was $40.00. In total I spent $120.00 for all 3 packages. I would have only been able to purchase 1 HP combo packs at the price of $167.00. When I installed the Smart Ink, to my surprise there was an error message: "Non-HP Chip Detected" I needed a quick fix. Thankfully Smart Ink was already prepared to warn the buyer of this "IMPORTANT!" message and how to resolve it. I purchased my ink cartridge over a year ago, and we relocated since then. Consequently, I discovered the ink cartridge in a moving box after the move. Since I had run out of ink in the printer, I had to replace the cartridge. However, HP had already performed a software update on the printer, rendering it incompatible with the ink cartridge. I reached out to customer support, and they promptly mailed me a new set of cartridges at no charge and with expedited shipping. Been buying this ink for some time now. I had bought some ink back in August and just putting it into my printer. It was not working. It kept giving me an error. I went on to their website and talked to support. They helped me out with fixing the issue. There was a moment where I was going to be sent more ink because I was unable to figure out how to fix the problem and then about a couple minutes later my printer finally started to update. Printer error? Seriously- live chat them from their website! It takes 2 min to resolve all of your issues. My story: I had 3 full color ink packs of older 2025 cartridges from them (2 completely unopened), and they used to work fine- but one day an update automatically happened on my printer, so I've been having this stupid HP cartridge error for about 1 year now. I had tried downloading an older version (pre-update) on my printer with no luck. Me, being the lazy self that I am, went the ENTIRE YEAR being sad about my printer ink not working and not willing to spend the crazy amount of money HP wants for their own brand of ink. Finally, 1 year later, I went back on Amazon to see if I could resolve the issue and was reading TONS of updated reviews about how amazing their customer service is and how their issues got resolved right away! Seriously people- this is 24/7 live chat access. I talked with Kevin and he sent me 1 free (updated chip) full color cartridge box to make sure it would work with my printer since the update. He said if it didn't work they'd refund me FOR ALL 3 BOXES OF INK I BOUGHT- LITERALLY 1 YEAR AGO!! That's crazy!! I just got the new ink today and it's updated ink cartridge chip is working perfectly! Now Kevin is sending me the 2 other boxes of ink free too now, to make up for the 3 outdated boxes I'll have to throw out. AMAZING SERVICE! Thank you, thank you, thank you Smart Ink! I've been buying and using Smart Ink cartridges for years. The ink cartridges always gave me reams of sharp, crisp copies before running out of ink. They never leaked and never ran short of ink. In fact, I never had a problem until today. I put a brand new cyan cartridge in the 8715 printer. The printer printed 8 pages and then insisted it was depleted of ink. It wasn't. It was full of ink. I called Smart Ink customer service and explained the issue. Smart ink didn't hesitate. They replaced the cartridge immediately. ... show more
