Just bought this rug to replace our other namebrand washable rug that kept curling on the edges. This rug is super soft and comfortable on our feet. Minimal funky smell out of the wrapping, and it’s already almost completely flat. I do not have a rug pad underneath and I don’t think we’ll use one because the weight of the rug on its own is enough. I ordered in creme color and loved it. The texture feels comfortable and thickness a good in between. The 8’ x 10’ was perfect on my living room. Giving it 4 stars because it came with some loose threads. I’m not sure if that will continue happening but have in mind before to buy.

    • Easy to Vacuum and Looks Great!

So far so good. I've had my first one, a light brown 4x6, for just over a week and I'm so pleased. It looks great, is comfortable enough to sit on in meditation, and here's the big one... I can vacuum it with my powerful Sebo X4! That beast (as it's been called by some) has a beater bar and no power setting... just powerful, and it glides over my Safavieh rug like it was made for it. Prior to discovering Safavieh .50 pile rugs, I'd tried a thinner, faux-wool, washable, "easy to vacuum" carpet. It was lovely, but my vacuum would have had it for lunch if I'd left it on another second! This Safavieh rug is a wish come true! Fyi, the rug comes rolled-up and tightly sealed in thick plastic. There was a slight smell, and that dissipated within a couple of days. The rug rolled out almost completely flat - only the corners lifted. I put something with a little weight on it for a day, and now it lays flat. Great find! Just got a second one, shown in the photo - I needed something under a cat tree to protect the floor. It's a 3x5 in cream. Love it! 8/1/24 Update: I've been vacuuming the 4x6 daily and with easy for over two months now. Love these area rugs! ... show more

It’s ok I think I need a bigger size for my space so I’ll be returning it’s not a bad rug tho. It’s soft I was kinda hoping for a more solid brown color there are variations of the brown shade which is nice but I was looking for a more solid color.

The rug has some design but subtle. Looks great with different textures and decorative style. The quality is really good for the price. The rug was packaged well and rolled out nicely. Mine is the 10 x 10 and is used in our living room.

    • NOT 9’ Square; Is Only 8’8” Square!

I’m disappointed that this rug is advertised as 9’ square, as I’d planned on it being that size. Unfortunately, mine is considerably smaller than that, at 8 feet, 8 inches square! That’s quite a bit off. Had I known they were so far off the true measurement, I would have purchased the 10’ square instead. Not a bad looking rug, though. It came folded, but I unfolded it right away and laid it flat, and it seems OK after adding furniture on top. Would have given 5 stars had the measurements been accurate. I looked again at the ad to see if I just missed something, but the ad mentions 9’ square in multiple places, and even mentions that it is 10” thick, which is absurd. UPDATE a couple of weeks later: I originally gave this 1 star because I was so disappointed that the size was not accurately reported on their info pages. I do wish they'd take more care in this area, but I am updating this from 1 star to 3 because I am impressed with the overall quality of the rug. While I still think they need to give accurate sizes since some of us plan on that, and being 4 inches off on length and width is unacceptable, the quality and feel of the rug are indeed nice, and mine did flatten out rather quickly, so I gave two more stars for that. If the listers are reading this review: please report accurate sizes of your rugs! ... show more
