I purchased this rug for a sitting area room that needed some additional 'pop' of color. This rug certainly proved to serve its purpose. It arrived quickly, as do all items purchased from Amazon. It was packaged and protected very well (as a side note, the box is very heavy, so keep some company around to help you carry it in). The colors are exactly what I expected; consequently, I got the rust/multi color. In fact, they were brighter and bolder than what is in the picture, which I appreciated. Yes, there were a couple, literally two, pieces of the burst that were coming out. This was no matter to me since it in no way affected the look of the rug. It happens with most pieces of carpet that are made with this type of material. Yes, it does shed the first couple of times you vacuum it. Again, not an issue for me since most types of materials shed with the first few cleanings (rugs, clothes, etc.). Speaking of vacuuming, this was my biggest concern since I have dogs. I didn't want to buy a rug that was going to fall apart after I vacuumed it. If you turn the spinners off, I believe this was a manufacturer suggestion, there will be no problems; it still cleans up nice. Overall, I really love this rug! It is a good price for a quality piece. It actually does hold up to heavy foot traffic. My dogs walk on it all the time. My son takes his cars and trains and runs them through it constantly. I have yet to have a problem. If you are looking for a bright, fun rug to add some life to a room, this is the rug for you. ... show more

This is a great quality rug, very vibrant and heavy, probably a little bit darker than the photos show but for me it worked. I'm not sure if the little ribbons that make up the pattern will fall out over time but as of now, I love it!!

This runner looks great and is plush under the feet, but the quality is questionable. After the first time I vacuumed it, the design started to unravel and I have all these white strings - looks ratty now unless I trim all of the stragglers with scissors. Also, it sheds profusely- the photo attached shows the amount of black fibers from just one vacuuming! Would not recommend. ... show more

I have wanted this carpet for so long. After finding someone who will ship to hawaii for free, I decided to order it on Amazon. I was sooooo excited when it arrived in a few days! Fast, free shipping, = one happy lady.. then I opened the wrapping and my happiness went away quickly. Apone opening the plastic this carpet had a horrible smell, like a cross between a wet dog and mold. I have bought many area rugs in my day and never once have I opened a rug and smelt anything like that. I don't know if this carpet was siting in some dark,wet storage locker or what, but the smell was so bad, we have had to spray it with frebreeze 3x's a day since we got it and leave the window opening with AC blowing max just to be able to breathe in the roomm the rug is in. The brown part of the rug is shedding. My vaccum is filled with brown fibers that serious looks like a shedding dogs fur. So now, not only do we have spray and air out that rug, but we have to vaccum it 2 times a day since the moment you step on it, it stirs up the brown fiber and they clump all over the floor. In order to get most of the brown up, you have to use a good poweredc vaccum on a low setting, however doing that causes the color ribbons that stick up out of the brown to get caught in the vaccum and start to fray. So Now I have to use a low powered vaccum and only get the surface brown fiber ups and repeat this 2 times aday so brown fibers aren't tracked all over my house. Good news is, the carpet looks great from the outisde looking in. that is about rhe only good news. If shipping wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg, I would sent this area rug right back. The smell is horrible and the shedding is nasty. I don't think I will ever buy from this seller again. My dream carpet has now becomone one smelly nightmare :( ... show more
