This is, by far, my favorite rug ever. Ordering online it's almost impossible to get an exact picture of what something is like in person. Often the size is off, color, etc. This rug is BETTER than I was expecting. I am uploading 2 pics. The brighter one, first pic uploaded, is without any changes or filters to the picture. I love, love, love this area rug. Can't beat the price. I didn't want to spend a ton of money because my Great Dane will sometimes chew bones and treats on it. For me, it stays in place without any padding underneath because of some furniture legs on it. If you want a more luxurious feel (over a hardwood floor), I suppose you could add padding, but I don't need that for my lifestyle. I would by this brand again! ... show more

I love this rug so much that I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. It came very well protected in heavy duty plastic and even had material covering each end of the rolled up rug. The edges do curl up which has been a tripping hazard, but I just need to get double sided tape and that will fix the problem which makes it not a problem at all. I have the rug on a wood floor and it is thick enough not to need any kind of padding underneath it. It is extremely soft and has an elegant look. I am more than happy that I purchased this rug and have no complaints. This rug is made well and very durable. I bought this in the 8x10 size which is exactly that. Got this rug for my bathroom and it is gorgeous!!!! I have an old old 60's grey tiled bathroom and just wanted a refresh. I wanted to go with a navy blue theme. I ordered some navy towels, a new shower curtain, a new liner and this rug, all form amazon. I didn't really know what to expect, but when I put down...amazed. This rug is so plush and the blues are so rich. I actually had to check the price before writing this review and can't believe it was less than 29 bucks (2'6"x 4'). And Voila... my bathroom has never looked so good. I already have another natural fiber Safavieh rug in the kitchen and know they are really top quality. So yes, this is a winner. When we moved into our apartment, the beige carpet was not changed, and the room needed some color. We have put the Safavieh (8 by 10) rug over the existing carpet in the living room, and it looks wonderful. Also, if you are wondering if the colors shown in the pictures of the carpet are accurate, they are. We also bought the round 6' diameter version of the same pattern for our dining area to go under our small, round dining table and the 2'3" by 7' runner for the short hallway into the kitchen. The set of three look great together. The only rug of the three that moves on the underlying carpet is the hallway runner. We live in central Florida and an added benefit to the thickness of the rug on top of carpet is that it seems to store coolness from the air conditioner, so it is actually cool to walk on. We go around barefoot in the apartment, and the rugs feel really thick and plush under our feet. ... show more

This was so very irritating because all of these reviews are wonderful. The only way I could give this a good review is if I were using it on carpet, which I'm not. Even with a rug pad they have made the bottom slick so it just moves all over. If you want a rug to put on carpet then it is a pretty and soft rug, but if you want it on hardwood floors then I'd keep looking. ... show more

This rug is so beautiful and accurately represented on Amazon site. The pile is comfy and plush but doesn’t seem as though it will flatten down and look worn. Love it so much I ordered the 6’X9’ area rug!

The colors are true to the listing. What can't be seen in the pictures is how nice this rug is! It is soft and has a good pile to it, making it soft underfoot. It also hides dirt way better than I expected! It arrived quickly and was packaged well. Took a couple of days for it to fully uncurl (not unexpected) but it is great now.
