We splurged the boxes for my grandson's birthday it's perfect it runs very well we have even dropped it and falling apart and he puts it right back together and it works. He hasn't really really enjoyed it and the train track he makes all kinds of train tracks on it so it's perfect

This train is incredibly well designed and once all the pieces come together, it's hard to believe we built it ourselves. I made this with my five year old and he is obsessed with it. Just a joy to have given him. We bought extra tracks though... The tracks that come with don't do the train justice.

My kids LOVE this thing. It’s amazing. You can adjust the speed and make it go backwards. They have had a blast with it. The train is really cool looking with working doors and plenty of track. It’s comes with a wide variety of unique mini figs and accessories. Highly recommend! It does seem to drain the batteries fast. And it uses a lot of them! The kids assure me they’ve remembered to turn it off but I don’t know for sure. They may have left it on. Even if it’s not moving you need to turn it off to save the batteries. I think I’m going to try rechargeable batteries. It’s just so cool. I’m really happy with this purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I made a lego city so I needed a lego train. this thing works great lights and speed control. I added a couple of off brand cars it still ran. It does make a high pitched electronic whine when running but that is negligible. really fun for a lego or train fan or both.
