Why did you pick this product vs others?: I spent many hours looking for the perfect area rug. I recently moved to a new apt, and the only thing I didn't love was the carpet. I didn't care for the color, and there were a few bleached-looking areas. I knew I wanted something with a patter, but subtle. I have a lot of color in my other decor. This rug far exceeded my expectations. The pattern is beautiful, but doesn't dominate, and I love the sculpted look and feel. It's soft and cushy. I love everything about it. I really wanted this rug.. however when it was delivered I could tell I was going to have an issue with one end of the rug.. I could see it was unraveling due to damage during shipping.. I’ve already returned one rug for this one from Amazon and I don’t have the time or patience to return another rug to the ups store.. Anyway, check out my pictures and you can see what I’m talking about.. The end that’s unraveling is going towards the wall side under my king bed so it won’t be seen. The rug is very rich looking and definitely an upgrade from the one I initially purchased.. Very soft under foot and does not look or feel cheap at all.. very nice for the price, I looked at rugs twice the price and we’re not as nice as this one!! ... show more

I wouldn’t call this a medium pile rug, and the color is not as ‘beige’ as the picture. In person, the beige shows up with a very slight pink tinge to it. When I took a picture of it with my phone, it did show up as beige. The rug is very pretty. It seems to be made well with good stitching around the edges. I have bought Safavieh many times from here and other places. This rug is beautiful. I got 8x10, 6x9, 2x6, and the 3x5. Gorgeous color and texture. Pic looks little bit darker than in person.

We love this rug. We got the runner version of it too. It's soft, and has the appearance of a more expensive rug. Our cat has already decorated it...actually he barfed on both rugs one morning...and they cleaned up just fine with our little Bissell carpet cleaner. Great looking rug!
