I want to start by saying that this set was incredibly easy to put together. I know some other reviews mentioned that it was a little difficult but I found all the directions and hardware easy to figure out. The set is meant to be done with an allen key and they give you a TON of them to work with. I, personally, ended up using my drill with the hex key attachment. All in all, it took me a little less than an hour to get everything together. The set itself is beautiful, the wood is unfinished (doesn't bother me) and the pillows were less white than I thought they would be (ended up being an off-white cream color) but I didn't mind that either. It feels sturdy and well made. The cushions themselves are a little thin but they don't feel terrible and I'm planning on getting some extra decor pillows to help with that. I think for the price, you really cannot go wrong with this. I will say though that the package clearly stated that this set is not meant to stay outdoors for long periods of time. I imagine it is because the wood is unfinished and you can probably do that yourself if you wanted. I think for a covered area or an apartment porch (like I have) it's perfect. I absolutely do not regret buying this and I feel like if I bought this anywhere else this would have at least cost me over $800.

We are enjoying these! Assembly wasn’t terrible, but you need two people and a drill. I was concerned about the sturdiness of these after reading reviews, however, I am well pleased with the sturdiness of the chairs. Granted, this is a smaller patio set and not at all designed for lounging or large people. The cushions are thin, however, we found them to be firm and comfortable. If you are looking for a comfy, lounging furniture set, this is not for you. I recommend you get a sectional sofa. My only complaint is that the backs of the chairs have a curve in word. You almost have to use the provided pillows for a comfortable fit. I think a better design would’ve been a slight curve backwards. However, I am still pleased.

The pieces came in one big, heavy box, within a week (Amazon Prime). Instructions are pretty straightforward but say something to the effect to not leave this outdoor furniture out in the outdoor and expose it to the elements - even though this is clearly advertised as “outdoor furniture“?! So we decided to varnish it, with applying thick coats of varnish three times. So worth it because the pieces now look all shiny and will hold up for this season, we hope. We intend to varnish them yearly. It took two people one hour to assemble everything - tools are included. The furniture seems to be quite sturdy, not cheap looking. The cushions are thin and the white fabric was already a bit dirty when we received it. Due to this I decided to sew covers for the cushions because white isn’t a good color to hide dirty spots. I was afraid the seats were really low to the ground but they seem to be at a really comfortable height as you can see on the attached photo. The person is 5’8” and his feet rest comfortably on the ground. The only complaint I have is that comfort sitting on these chairs could improve even more by adding a little pillow to each chair. In the end, at about $400+ I am quite happy with the purchase but had to put great effort into protecting the raw wood before exposing it to the elements, i.e. rain, UV etc. If left untreated, in my opinion, this wood would look good for maybe a season or two before it would look aged and rough.

Looks great just like the other Safavieh furniture we have purchased. The chairs and table are solid and look great in our 3 Season room. Only small complaint is that while assembly is easy, I thing is labeled so it takes some back and forth with the instructional pictures to figure out which piece is for where.

Looked like it was supposed to be easy to assemble. Directions are vague. It uses letter to describe the parts of the set but then there aren’t letters on the actual piece. I looked over the wood before I put it together and there were some pieces that were scuffed or chipped but they weren’t in very noticeable places so I just put wood glue on them and kept going. One of the chairs was supposed to have two pieces coming out of it that you put the arm into but one was pushed in so far down I couldn’t get it out so I had to screw a screw I had at home in that area so the chair would be stable so that was annoying. I get all the way to the end and I’m working on the loveseat and it was broken!!! I was so mad I could’ve cried. I just put more wood glue on it and screwed it together and the last dang screw didn’t even line up. I was already 3 hours in and I’m injured so I was so over putting this dang thing together. Cushions are thin but they surprisingly aren’t that uncomfortable.

Amazingly sturdy and so easy to assemble! Highly recommend you buy if you’re considering a nice, solid wood outdoor patio set. The only thing I’m having a hard time is cleaning off the dust in the cream cushions, but it comes with the territory of choosing such a light color. It’s beautiful though!
