I'm absolutely in love with this rug! I bought it for my home office and couldn’t be more thrilled. The colors are beautiful and blend effortlessly with my decor, while the light grey and ivory base, along with the gorgeous print, cleverly hide the endless supply of blonde dog hair from my year-round shedder. The size works perfectly in my small space—even though it's 6'7", it fits really well. (Why is it so hard to find a true 6x6 square rug?) It feels great underfoot and has settled nicely. I’m still planning to secure the corners with some carpet tape just to be on the safe side. Very pretty loomed rug. Seems well-made for the price point and definitely not washable, so it should last longer. Varying shades of green, blue, off-white, and grey/taupe. The undertones are definitely cool, so it is a wee bit off in my warmer space. I'm sure I'm the only one who will notice, but if you're in the design space, you'll notice. It's a little soft, but definitely not plush. I'm using a 0.5" carpet pad underneath, which I'm sure helps add some perception of softness. My main sticking points are: A) there are 3 specs of fuchsia in random spots (see photos), but because this is loomed, you can't do anything except cut them out; B) MOST FRUSTRATINGLY, this is not a true 9×12' rug. As you can see in my photos, the length is over 12' and is likely 12'3", which isn't a huge problem, but the width is well short of 9' and more like 8'6". This matters in smaller spaces and if you're using a rug pad because a conventional 9×12' pad will be bigger in width than this rug. While not an expensive rug, the seller should certainly have the exact measurements if the rug isn't true to size. I made it work, but it wasn't easy or fun. Overall, I'm pleaded by how quickly it arrived and that it didn't perfume my space in toxic chemicals. I would buy this again. ... show more

I'm repainting and decorating my apartment in a Tuscany/Boho Chic style and this rug added the finishing touch to my living room! I originally bought it for my dining room and ordered a rug from Artistic Weaver's for the living room in a coordinating design and color scheme, but this rug was so much more vibrant, I switched them around. The colors are bright and for a thin rug it is soft. I thought I would need a pad under it for softness, but it actually feels good to walk on barefoot or in socks. My dogs love it too, one of my boys just rolls around on it every chance he gets, and my other boy loves to sleep on it, so it is definitely dog approved! I've had the rug for a couple of months and it still looks like new, even with heavy foot traffic and 2 pitbulls running around on it. Only problems I've had with it are minor, 1) a couple of the corners don't lay flat, even after trying to flatten them with books and the legs of my sofas. I recently bought rug tape and I'm going to try that. 2) one side of the rug is more distressed than the other, I just put that side in front of my sofa and under my ottoman so when guests come over they mainly see the better side. I got the "gray and light blue". This is my second purchase of the same rug. It is NOT gray and light blue. It is orange and teal with some yellow accents. My curtains in the video are mustard yellow and my couch is gray with some orange/teal pillows if you want to compare shades. The rug itself is awesome. Soft. Beautiful colors. Holds up well to traffic/use. You definitely need a rug pad underneath, it does not have any stick/thickness to it. ... show more

Exceeded expectations. Colors are vibrant, rug is soft. I used a water resistant rug pad underneath because I have dogs. I shampooed the rug with my carpet cleaner after unrolling to help lay flat. I have other rugs from this brand and they have held up for several years now. Definitely recommend!

There are so many area rugs on the market that claim to be "washable". Really. this means printed on a think material. The ink wears off and they don't last. This is why Safavieh always rates so highly. They are durable, well made and I have even hosed one off in the backyard!
