My back was hurting due to a twenty five year old pillow top mattress. I bought this and aired it out a couple of days on my bed by running a fan a few hours each day with window cracked. & i slept in another room. It’ had a little odor of the product itself. Once my daughter help me turn my bed box springs and mattress and fix this in place. It was so dreamy it is so soft and was so relaxing to be honest I didn’t want to get up. However, upon opening it, there was an extremely strong and unpleasant odor coming from inside the packaging I immediately reclose the box and did not continue to open the technically sealed back that had the mattress top on it.
