Review of Ivory: ( Blue and Gold review below) It seems like good rug if you are going for a boho sheep look. It does not go with charcoal grey furnishings as it is too yellow. It already looks a little dirty even though it isn't. It appears to be very lightly processed mixed wool. I didn't unroll it the entire way as I wanted to see the color first before making a commitment. I put a piece of ordinary white copy paper next to it for the photo. Photos are in direct sunlight. It has tan, off white, brown, black and camel bits in it. While gazing at it I suddenly grew hairy legs, was sporting a peasant blouse and had a strong desire to macrame a wall hanging. Review of Blue and Gold: I would call this Brown with blue and gold highlights, with a little grey. Honestly I had to look up my order to see what color I ordered. I think this would look great with a Mid Century look or a tan leather couch. Its very rustic and natural looking. Pretty. Manly. Organic. I was thinking of keeping it but it looked awful with my charcoal grey couch. Too bad I wasn't prepared to toss all my current furnishings and rush off to Scandinavian designs. Its nice but better with warm tones, not cold greys. Photos were taken in full sunlight. ... show more

Firstly, the rug we received is good quality, nice thickness and feels comfortable underfoot, it’s fairly soft and makes the room feel cosy.. Second, the colour appears different in every light, ranging from light grey, to a yellowish beige. It’s mottled with all sorts of grey and black specks and flecks running through it. We would have preferred the base colour to be a lighter less yellow colour, like advertised. However, the other reviews made us aware to expect the colour to be off, and overall it still goes with the rest of the furnishing, so we decided to keep it, the quality being the deciding factor. Lots of fluff in the vacuum every time so far, this should reduce over time. The colour issue is likely the reason for the cheap price, so we reasoned you can’t have everything! Arrived with a smell of mildew/mustiness from storage. The packaging was labeled with a date, manufactured in 2021 - was it in a warehouse since then? One family member with a mold allergy had an allergic reaction. Had to trash the rug.

I almost didn't open the rug. Opening just the corner and looking at it made me really worried. But I am so glad I went ahead and unrolled it. The coloring is true to the photos in the listing. It looks yellow/gold at first, but once it is laid out, it takes on more of the oatmeal coloring. Soft, well made, great fit for our needs. ... show more
