If you’re installing following the car seats manual, and your latches are easily accessible in your car, it will NOT tighten to secure the seat. The seat itself FEELS flimsy, cup holders fall out no matter how much I make sure they’re in the right way. Again, THE LATCH WILL NOT TIGHTEN. I’ve installed SO many car seats and have never had this problem. I’ve even had other Safety First seats. This is just not one that wins. And the cup holders add width, so this seat is not a true 17”. For reference, installed in both sides of a ‘16 Wrangler Unlimited and had this issue on both sides. ... show more

This is a great carseat but I seem to be the only person that had trouble getting it installed. Followed the directions exactly and the latch belt was extremely loose on one side and the way it was attached to the carseat wouldn't allow it to be tightened. We finally had to install it the exact opposite way the instructions said in order for it to work. ... show more

This Carseat is a great choice. It is sturdy and comfortable, has a few different positions to keep baby comfortable. It fits well in cars, you can use is rear or front facing. We have this carseat in both our cars and are very happy with it.

This is a great all-in-one seat at a great price! My son was getting too big for the infant car seat we have so we got this because I love the multiple uses of it. The seat is super lightweight - when the box arrived I thought it was too light to hold a car seat. It definitely weighs considerably less than the Graco rear and forward facing seat I use for my daughter which makes it a lot easier to move in and out of the car. I like the double cup holders plus they spin in and out to make it easy to clean. The seat colors look nice and the padding feels comfy. My son is 10 months and fits great with lots of room to grow. Installation in the car is easy and straightforward. And the 5-point harness is pretty standard (pull tight from the cord at the bottom and use the little lever to loosen) - the only difference between this and our Graco seat is the straps connect somehow so when you loosen them all the way if you pull one strap it will tighten the other and vice versa - which makes it a little weird to get used to if you're used to a different brand, but I also find it convenient because I don't have to loosen the straps as much to take him in and out. My son looks comfy in it and everything feels safe and secure, plus the longevity of this seat is a huge bonus. ... show more

I’ve only used this in harness mode so far but I like how lightweight it is. Getting a tight install is easy and my 3 year old is comfortable in it. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but it’s a nice cheaper option with all the security of a pricier seat. My only complaint is that he constantly twists the cup holders off and tosses them around the car. They should be more difficult to remove! ... show more

This seat was easy to install and my toddler seems comfortable in it. I love the adjustable height, it is so much easier than some carseats where you have to rethread the entire strap through. This makes life so much easier to adjust the strap as my child grows. It is a large seat but that is to be expected. There is lots of padding for comfort and safety. First of all, the car seat looks super fancy but it's not very expensive. The seat belts were already at the height I needed for my son out of the box. I just had to push the little button to loosen them, put him in and tighten by pulling the lower belt piece. It has all the clips to hook into the vehicle safely. I love this car seat!
