Buyer beware.. the bed portion of this product is extremely difficult to assemble. Its like you need a person for each individual pole that supports the to hold the poles in place. Do not buy if you do not have help to assemble!

Overall, I am extremely impressed with this bedframe! I struggled for months of research to find a suitable loft bedframe for my queen size mattress, but when I saw this one on the suggestion page for me I knew it was for me. The other reviews are extremely accurate in that this WILL take hours to assemble. I started assembling the loft around 9am and finished roughly around 4pm. It is definitely a 2 person job, however if you're a little clever you can assemble it with relative ease on your own. WARNING though that it will be a pain trying to get the mattress up on the loft once assembled by yourself, so maybe try to find someone to help once you get to that point. The overall build quality of the frame is very strong. I'm a guy who weighs 205 and this bedframe holds me just fine, including the stairs which surprised me. The only reason why I gave this review a 4/5 stars is because of the metal bar that runs under the middle of the bedframe that acts as a support beam for the mattress. This metal beam feels strong, but It is a little sketchy how it's the only solid metal beam acting as full support for the rest of the small metal poles which hold up the mattress. I've been monitoring it for a little while now and I don't see hardly any (if at all) bending or stress on the metal rod, but if you're worried I'd monitor it just in case. Additionally, my mattress is quite large, larger than the others who've written reviews before. It's 12 inches tall and still fits very well on this frame. If I had to guess, the combined weight of such a large mattress as well as myself might contribute to my worries of the load bearing metal beam, but I digress. All in all I'm happy so far with my purchase. It looks great, it's the best deal for your wallet and you get so much use out of this loft than with others offer.

Took a chance on a zero review product... im so glad I did! This bed feels very sturdy and the quality is fantastic. Absolutely worth the money. It's hard to find loft beds for queen sized beds. Even harder to find with stairs!

Well, it works, I guess. Some of the parts were difficult to put together and some of the steps could have been done in a different order for improved efficiency. I wish the support beams on it were thicker and more square. I also wish every beam under the bed had been bolted in, instead of only 4 of them with the others hanging loose in their sockets. A few parts were slightly bent and didn't mesh together right so I had to spend a while forcing things to work, even had to loosen others to put parts in, like the shelf up top because that whole shelf area was bent in one direction, had to be loosened to get the wood in so that I could then tighten it back down around the wood. For anyone wondering, that round bar piece, the only piece of metal that is round in this, that's optional. It's just a hanger for clothing. You can leave that off. Putting it on was a hassle and bent the metal doing so not that it was bad. I just wish the wood actually met together more nicely with no gaps or lips. Oh well. I'll be keeping it, it saves me space. I put a piece of super thin utility panel on top of the bars below the mattress to help support it better. The good news is, that spot with the clothing hanger, you can shove a mini-fridge in there if the fridge is less than 23 and a half inches wide, less than 40 inches tall (remove clothing bar). The last thing is I kinda wish they had a wider entrance into the bed. The entrance part could have been as wide as the top step. It's not like you're gonna roll off that side. Makes it just a little difficult to get on and off. Oh but I do like that they included 1 extra screw of each kind of screw. However they could have reduced the complexity if they had reduced the amount of screw types and lengths. Some of these things that used slightly shorter screws didn't actually need to. They could have just made longer screw bits for those and had less types of parts. If the company sees this, consider that. Less part types means less confusion. Also they say max of 6" bed, but you can get away with taller if you're going to be up against two walls anyway. You can't possibly roll off the side with the shelf after all. If it's for kids, I'd go with the 6" though. Mine in the images, is 8". I can't think of anything I'm forgetting so I'll leave it at this and edit later if I remember anything else or discover anything else.

It's good. The shorter cross bars right under the mattress should be rock solid steel. It is already permanently bent (also made noise when moving on the bed), so I replaced them with steel bars from home depot and used a large rubber mat cut to strips and wrapped around the ends of the steel bars to make it make no sound (metal on metal) when moving on the bed. Now it is built like a tank. No sag no sound. I am used to DIY most of my furniture and house as well and electronics if needed ), even when they are high end. However, I can see this being an issue for people who are not handy with DIY projects. I am decently happy with the frame, since the rest of it is great. I took off one star because I needed my own steel bars with custom dampening on the end to eliminate sag and noise.
