Features 5
- [DESIGN & PILE]: SAFAVIEH's Florida Shag rug runs a wave pattern in light blue through blue, and its plush 1 1/8" pile is cushioned without being unstable in a living room, bedroom or dining room.
- [SOFT UNDERFOOT]: Power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", a pile dense enough to keep the wave pattern reading and to take high-traffic areas without matting, holding up in an entryway, hallway, home office or kitchen.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum with the beater bar off and blot spills with mild detergent and cool water; avoid soaking the backing.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Fold lines from shipping flatten out within a few days laid flat. Because the wave is scaled to each size, its rhythm reads differently on a runner than on a room-size rug. A SAFAVIEH rug pad stops slipping and protects the floor.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.
Description
The SAFAVIEH Florida Shag 472 collection moves a wave pattern through a shag surface in light blue & blue, giving the floor motion without a hard geometric edge. Each rug is power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", cushioned underfoot while still clearing most furniture. Polypropylene handles traffic, spills and sunlight better than a natural pile of the same depth, which is what keeps the pattern visible over time. Florida Shag 472 suits a living room, bedroom or dining room that needs softness and a little movement.

Great Rug!
Size: 6' x 9' (Rectangular)
Color: Cream/Blue
Rugs are always hard to buy online but it does help when it has a ton of rave reviews like this one does, and it absolutely delivers. Its plush, soft, true to size dimensions, and looks great. I vacuumed it upon unrolling to brush the threads and help with the carpet smell. I left it in my apartment for a few hours and when I came home I could smell it however that’s as expected. I lit a candle and used some febreeze and I expect in a few days it will fade. The color was what I was most worried about as the photo looks more ivory/off white. By others descriptions I was afraid it would be more beige/brown (like standard carpeting is these days). When you first open it, you can see it is darker than the picture but once placed out it looks just fine and doesn’t clash with my grey couch. You can see from my photos the difference. The up close picture I feel does a better job of showing color. The lighting does also change the look and the photos only capture so much. Overall the color looks clean and fresh, and I’m very happy with the purchase.

Plush rugs
Size: 8' x 10' (Rectangular)
Color: Creme
VERY nice rugs. Bought an 8x10 in cream for under my dining room table. Super plush feeling. Will probably put a rug pad underneath so it doesn’t scratch my floors. Would definitely buy again.
