This is a great rug! If you're considering it, you can feel comfortable that it's a wonderful product. It was shipped in a timely manner, well packaged, and clean upon arrival. The smell is so minor that it barely exists. The rug is a beautiful ivory color - very crisp and clean looking - and it is SOFT! I'm sitting in my chair right now, running my toes across it, and it's a treat. I have never loved a rug so much! I've been having a rough few weeks and had the wind taken out of my sail a few times and that all changed today when this arrived. I prayed it would work in my living room (mainly because I didn't want to roll it up and mail it back). As we unrolled it I fell in love with the new carpet smell and have never been so happy. It's incredibly soft and comfortable to lay on and my son loved the cut out edges. He used them as roads for his hot wheel cars. so I want to thank this rug for giving me peace and quiet from my 4 year Old for a while tonight. This rug completed my new living room y'all and my family. I keep going outside and coming in to get a wiff of that new carpet smell. ... show more

Just received my rug today. It’s very nice, but I got it for my bathroom as I have ceramic tile on the floor. My son is handicapped and has already fallen on the wet tile. The reason I purchased this one is it was the only one this size I was able to find with a latex backing so it wouldn’t slip. Well it DOESN’T have a latex back as described. Here’s a copy of the description: Primary material: Polypropylene Style: Casual Backing: Latex Country of Origin: Turkey Primary Color: Beige Rug Dimensions: 3'3" x 5'3" I will keep it but now need to find a backing to use. Poorly made, not even a proper circle. Uneven rows. Poor attention to detail. Polypropylene material caused my feet to itch terribly. Developed severe allergic reaction. Itching all over, then difficulty breathing, face puffed up. Would never put this rug in a child's room. Going to go with cotton from now on. Will never buy a rug made with Polypropylene again. If you are prone to allergies or have asthma or some breathing problems, don't buy this rug. Once I packed it up for return my symptoms subsided within hours. ... show more

Esthetically it's a beautiful rug with a nice color and design. Soft underfoot, but not as advertised, "High-density polypropylene pile provides one of the plushest feelings available in a rug". It is soft, but fibers are not dense, and definitely not "high density". The fibers are moderately loose, in other words, you can very easily get your fingers in between the fibers to the backing. If it were "high density" as advertised, you would not be able to do that. It is definitely NOT a 1 inch pile. It's 3/4 at BEST and that's if you pull up a piece of pile straight up against the measuring tape. This is directly from the "about this item"...Pile Height: 1 inch It does not have non slip backing If you don't mind adjusting the placement of the rug consistently, or the fact that it is not a 1 inch pile rug, then it's a good rug. Too expensive for it not being the height of the pile as advertised, with loose density, not "high density". Around $50 would have been more reasonable. To the Seller, if in fact you have this rug in a "1 inch high density pile", then perhaps I got a "lemon". Should you decide to replace it, I will be most happy to return this one. This is a very high quality carpet! I got an 11' runner and am extremely pleased.! You will be too. You do have to buy a non slip mat if slipping is an issue. It states latex back, and may have latex in it, but does NOT HAVE A NON SLIP BACK. Mine is on a wood floor and will buy the mat with pleasure! The rug is sooooo plush, and the speckled pattern is beautiful. I have several doorways in the hall and the nap is so high that the doors brush it; but not enough at all to cause a problem! Wonderful to walk on in socks or bare feet. Love, love, love this runner! Hope it cleans well, we have 3 dogs. Highly recommend this rug.
