this rug was perfect for my living room. It is soft. I have not spilled anything on it to see how it cleans up. After having a year. Several things have been spilled. And i must say I am impressed. Every time i have gotten a baby wipe and it has come right up. My son squished a blackberry into the rug i was so upset but all i did was circular motion the baby wipe and it came right up. I've never been so happy with an online rug in my life. It's very high quality, plush and chic. The colors aren't quite as shown, but it worked well for my gray/yellow room. The yellow is more of a mustard than gold. The flowers are large and striped. It honestly looks like a muted tiger (not in an orange way but the pattern) stripe in a way. The rug is really soft. My kids love to lie down on it and pet it. There was no smell when we opened it up which was nice as some other rugs we've purchased have a chemical smell. There were some creases in it when we unrolled it but within a few hours they'd mostly disappeared. Within a week, all of the edges completely unrolled as well. This is the 4th rug I've purchased off the web and the first one I've been this happy with. It's really brightened up the room and feels expensive but didn't break the bank. With 2 children under 4, the texture and pattern help hide any oopsies but keep things stylish. I'm considering purchasing another one for a different room. *This is a complete honest review from a person who purchased this rug for their own use and was not reimbursed or given anything in return.
