Features 5
- [DESIGN & PILE]: SAFAVIEH's Florida Shag rug holds a solid cream field inside a tonal border, and its plush 1 1/8" pile is cushioned without being unstable in a living room, bedroom or dining room.
- [SOFT UNDERFOOT]: Power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", a pile dense enough to keep the border line clean and to take high-traffic areas without matting, holding up in an entryway, hallway, home office or kitchen.
- [EASY CARE]: Vacuum with the beater bar off and blot spills with mild detergent and cool water; avoid soaking the backing.
- [WHAT TO EXPECT]: Fold creases settle within a few days laid flat. The border sits at a different scale on each size because it is drawn to the rug rather than repeated. A SAFAVIEH rug pad stops slipping and protects the floor.
- [TRUSTED BRAND]: For over a century, SAFAVIEH has been synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless design, a legacy carried through four generations. From New York, we offer rugs, furniture, lighting, and decor to help you design a space you love.
Description
The SAFAVIEH Florida Shag 454 collection frames a solid shag field with a contrasting border in cream, an edge that defines a seating area without adding pattern underfoot. Each rug is power-loomed from polypropylene at 1 1/8", cushioned but still low enough to clear most furniture. Polypropylene resists matting, shedding and fading, which is what keeps a plain field from showing every traffic path. Florida Shag 454 suits a living room, bedroom or dining room that needs softness and a clean outline.

I love this rug
Size: 5 ft x 5 ft
Item Shape: Round
Color: Beige / Beige
I have purchased Safavieh rugs for years, but then would want to change the decor and kept buying new rugs to match the decor. I got this soft brown rug as a neutral landing ground and it is perfect. Well made, soft, does not shed or fray, and looks wonderful.

Simple elegance!
Size: 6 ft 7 in x 6 ft 7 in
Item Shape: Round
Color: Cream / Cream
This rug is absolutely gorgeous! I love everything about it! It's soft and thick. I don't even have a pad under it to keep it from moving on the laminate floors. It's big enough that it really doesn't move on the floor much at all. It's easy to vacuum and it looks gorgeous in my kitchen/dining area! I would recommend this rug to anyone! The price is right and the quality is superb!

Beautiful, high quality rug
Size: 8 ft x 10 ft
Item Shape: Rectangular
Color: Cream / Cream
I absolutely love this rug. My mom has the smaller version and I had to have it for our house. It’s very high quality! We have had no issues since we got a few months ago. Only complaint is it has a slight chemical smell. Otherwise it’s perfect!

A most beautiful rug!
Size: 9 ft 6 in x 13 ft
Item Shape: Rectangular
Color: Beige / Beige
The media could not be loaded. We love the color and style of this rug. We followed the directions and rolled the rug out and left it for 4 days, but it didn't relax much. So we turned it over (you are seeing the backside in the pictures). Again, not much flattening happened. So we put weights on the folds for a day. Still no flattening. Now, we sprayed the backing with water and again, weighted them down. The results are the first two pictures. The very last picture, the small strip in front of the weights, you can see a fold in the carpet that just won't lay flat.
