urchased this (black and ivory) carpet in 3 sizes. 2'3"X10, 2'3"X6, and 8' round to replace our old rugs. The quality is great! Everyone has enjoyed the feeling on their feet. The color is exactly what I was looking for(busy and dark enough to hide dirt and stains as it's a high traffic kitchen area). They arrived rolled and layed pretty flat. I attached nonskid padding to the runners. No odors. My only concern is the size of the 8' round. Turns out it is only 7' 8". The third photo shows the padding now shows significantly. Obviously I can cut it down. At first I thought it was fine, however, now I'm realizing the chairs get caught on the edge as it's a bit too small. Wondering if this is the right size or if I happened to get an unusually small rug? ... show more

Do. Not. Buy. The rug will unravel before your eyes. This is clearly a case of product dumping–rather than just accepting a faulty order from overseas, the company has elected to sell inferior products. I can’t believe how poorly this rug was constructed. Think twice before purchasing a rug from this company. Note well, although the shipping to the customer is included in the price, shipping a 8X10 rug back will cost $150, in total. So you need to have a return strategy in mind before you consider buying this item. I think that most people skip the hassle of packaging such a big rug and just throw the whole thing in the dumpster, and take a $150 loss. This is what the company is banking on. We purchased SAFAVIEH Abstract Collection Area Rug - 8' x 10', Ivory & Grey, Handmade Wool, Ideal for High Traffic Areas in Living Room, Bedroom (ABT468G). Read the other low reviews. Let me start by saying that I’m in love with this rug! We are currently remodeling an area of our home and used a designer for certain rooms and because of that we are contractually bound to a certain amount of furniture, rugs, and accessories all of which she picks out. I will tell you this rug is the same exact colors (different design) and same material at a fraction of other designer rugs like our designer just purchased for $1100!! I LOVE this rug. It has minimal shedding and the color although it’s ivory/grey it’s more of a Greige. Think SW Agreeable Gray which is the wall color in this room, very neutral. I can see how it could look gray in some lighting but beige in other lighting. Don’t hesitate if you’re on the fence. ... show more

I ordered the Ivory/light gray but instead got ivory with light sage green . Its gorgeous but its not what I ordered. It looks well made and there was absolutely no shedding. It came very well packed. Also the sizing is incorrect. its not 8 x 10 . its like 7'6 by 10 . The shipping came from Home Trends and they don't do prime returns. Now I have to take this to the UPS !!!! Be ultra sure if you plan to purchase this and you dont mind the return hassle. ... show more

Rug is beautiful and the perfect neutral colors but the first thing I noticed after unpackaging was a hole on the back. 5 month update: Rug snags very easily.
