Moving towards tea and away from coffee as a daily afternoon drink. I like the fact that I use this at home as a daily maker for a small batch of tea in the afternoon. Not sure I would ever use it for travel, though I guess you could if you wanted. Very giftable, assuming the gift is for somebody into tea already. Had a slight issue with the initial shipment, one of the pieces came damaged, I suspect shipment damage. Regardless, it was replaced right away and the new one arrived before I could make a trip to UPS to ship the old one back.

Setting aside the fact that it took them two weeks to get their lazy as up and mail the package. But after it got here the cups were chipped not great quality at all and way overpriced for chipped Cups and the giawan lid. Tea is supposed to be something you can share with your friends I'm afraid these cups might cut them and turn them into enemies. Are I might bleed in there tea from the lid. 😭😭😭😭

It's a beautiful set. I love the: cups, gaiwan, gong dao bei. The case is gorgeous. It's never been so easy to make Gung-fu cha!! Also, unlike some tea sets, this set holds heat beautifully.

I loved this tea set but knocked off two stars when I found a pink piece of garbage(?) was attached to the side of one of the tea cups (unused) and I could not scratch it off. Other than that this is great for a beginner - porcelain is pretty and the carrying case is great for easy transport
