Very beautiful rug! Took about a week for it to finally lay out flat/settle but it’s very easy to vacuum with a cordless Dyson and thick. I hate the cheap looking rugs that are velvet top/you can see the lines in it. This was a great buy for the size and quality. Not too thick and not too thin. We just replaced our ancient carpet with wood flooring and I needed an area rug to pull it all together. I knew a traditional pattern wouldn't fit with my aesthetic, but I also didn't want something super modern looking. This one seemed perfect, multiple colors like I wanted, a pattern that was a little bit boho but not too wild. Finally got to unroll it this week and I love it. Initially I was slightly disappointed that the background was a little more taupe than expected and the greens and blues different than they appeared on my computer, but they quickly grew on me and still work to pull everything together. (Honestly, I was going to repaint my walls, but the burgundy color in the rug pulled them into my whole color scheme and now I'm not sure.) I weighted down the edges and corners for about 24 hours and that has them just about flattened out. In a smaller size this rug might slip and need something underneath, but as it is it seems to stay in place well. It's soft, not super thick, just about right. I might decide on a rug pad at a later date. My only 'con' is that it is slippery. Because this is my exercise space in the morning I am often doing lunges, etc on the carpet and I find my feet sliding a bit. So just be aware that if this is going in a space where you exercise you may want an exercise mat for grip. I would absolutely purchase this again, though. (And at the price point, if I get tired of it in a few years I wouldn't feel guilty about replacing it.) ... show more

I got the ivory/multi 8x10 for my bedroom. I really like it. It isn’t my regular style. But the majority tan with a lot of different colors makes it go with a lot of other smaller rugs and with my other furnishings. If this was in an open area like a living room it might be a bit much. But with a bed covering a lot of it the bits that peak out and at the foot of the bed are pleasant. I have bought this brand before and it is a good rug. Not super thin and flimsy like some. It vacuums well. Writing the review now because I am now ordering a pad for underneath. The fabric feels ok on my bare feet but it is not cushy. ... show more

It arrived yesterday, And havta say, I like it a lot so far. Was pretty curly on the edges but flipped it over for the night, put a rock on the worst of the curled-up corners,… and it is now lying flat. Using it for the kitchen. The main color is more of a brick red than I thought it would be, but it still works. It is soft. And because it is thin, I plan to put a pad under it to get more standing comfort. After purchasing and returning a number of rugs for our small den, I was very pleased with this purchase. The rug is well made and soft underfoot. The style is subtle while adding interest and color to the room. With many other colors and sizes to choose from, there is a rug for every color scheme and decorative style. It is the 3rd Safavieh rug I own. Based on experience, acrylic rugs are easy to clean( once a month I use a wet vacuum to rinse or wash them, and they dry very quickly. I gave up on wool rugs because washing them , they would take a long time to dry, the glue would disintegrate over time, they would shed leaving wool balls everywhere, and leave white glue , flour like dust under the rug. So after giving up on the appeal of a real wool rug, I appreciate these acrylic rugs which are easy to maintain. If you are a neat freak like me, you will appreciate them too. Especially this brand, which has beautiful colors and designs. This particular rug has more blues that are not part of the description of the rug, which is ivory gray, however it doesn't bother me, especially because I saw that in the web picture. It is a true 10 by 14, which was very important. I would have loved to pick one from the tulum collection, but it was a 13 by 10. I do not regret it, this is very lively and the contrast between the ivory, gray, a bit of brown, and the blue, is very nice, making it a versatile rug for many rooms.
