So, I've waited 3 years to post this review on these Egyptian Cotton sheets. 1000 thread count with a sateen weave. Love my sheets, but, the pillow cases and top sheet began to wear out after 3 years of use. Washed every two weeks, with Tide, Oxy Clean, and fragrance crystals,, I did not expect the fabric to wear so quickly. However, they feel so good after a few washes I bought the same set again. I give these sheets a 4 star rating because I think the wear and tearing of the pillow cases and top sheet border should not have happened in only 3 years, but, the comfort and "Ritz-Carlton" luxury of the sheets compeled me to purchase the same set again. So soft, but, so fragile is my opinion of the CE Casa ESENCIA 1000 thread count, 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets.

I love these sheets! I have been searching for replacement 1000 thread count sheets since my favorite ones have been discontinued by a famous big box store. After many failed purchases I am excited to have found a set that doesn't pill and softens with use. I don't sleep on anything less than 1000 thread count - trust me when I say this will change your sleep!

I can't possibly say enough god about these sheets. They're absolutely fantastic. They began to soften tremendously after only the 2nd wash and if you get them out of the wash quickly and out of the dryer as soon as they're done the wrinkles seem to fall away alsmot completely. I had tried other sheets and am so glad to be back with pure Egyptian Cotton sheets. These are fantastic!!!

An honest review! First off I'd have to say the company is top rate. I was sent these sheets in terrible packaging and when I let them know that I had to destroy the box just to get the sheets out they apologized and gave me a full discount and let me keep the sheets. I washed these sheets more than a dozen times in cold water with baking soda and vinegar to soften them up and make sure they were well cleaned and free of chemicals that cause sheet sets to feel stiff. More than a dozen times is extreme but I really wanted to get the softness you would expect from 1000 thread count sheets. These sheets are thick and feel like they would last a lifetime. I did iron them before placing them on the bed to get the heavy wrinkles out and noticed that made them feel much softer. The fitted sheet fits well. The top sheet was too short for my liking. I like my sheets to fit all the way to the top of the bed. They are only 102x108 and with deep mattresses, you need 108x120 for a comfortable fit. I wish I had realized that when I got them but I'm not complaining about free sheets. I have not slept on them yet so I have no opinion about how they for sleeping but I did climb into the bed and they felt like high-quality hotel sheets. I will give these a 6-star rating to the company for the 100% refund after the problem with packaging. They were prompt to respond. I will forgive the packaging. (the company assure they were getting new packaging). I would say a 6-star rating for the durability. I would give a 6-star rating on the weight of the material. These are very thick and heavy for sheets as is typical for such a high thread count.

Original Review: Buying sheets is a difficult task, but these sheets are almost perfect for my wife and I. First of all, they are heavy and will very likely last a long time (I'm a quality assurance guy). Second, the stripes allow you to easily line the sheets up with the bed so you're not trying to figure out how the bottom fitted sheet should go. Third, the fitted sheet is generous with their sizing; the bottom sheet easily fits on our 9" thick box springs after washing (although you should use a cool drier setting to avoid shrinkage. However, the top sheet is borderline too small and while it fits okay, it is not quite wide enough in my opinion, hence the "almost perfect". Fourth, they come with a great set of washing instructions which I followed; this resulted in a wonderful feel and a good nights sleep. But what one person enjoys may not match what the next person wants, which is why reading reviews and trying to figure out what suits you is sometimes difficult. Let me add that while these sheets are soft and comfortable, they are 1000 thread count and they are thicker than a lesser thread count (something my wife and I very much enjoy). I rate these 5 stars because I find them perfect for our comfort (would rate them 4 1/2 stars due to the sizing issue I mentioned above) and I intend to purchase a second set; I just wish this seller offered them in more than just white. They give us a wonderful nights sleep. The seller did offer me a gift if I wrote a 5 star review. However, I declined the gift as that is a conflict of interest and highly unethical. I wrote this review as honestly as I could without getting anything for it except the knowledge I might help someone else. Updated Review: While I have washed these sheets carefully, I did use the lightest heat setting on my drier, which takes hours to dry a single sheet. Still, over 4-6 wash cycles, the top sheet has continued to shrink, to the point of barely reaching over the sides of the bed, and it is getting shorter top to bottom as well. I would not buy these sheets again.

I have been using these sheets for just over one year. We use them every day and wash them on Sundays. That means they have had over 50 washing and still no piling or balls!! I use bleach on them as well and they still feel like new. Pros: excellent quality, stay smooth, cool feel against your skin, fit on my deep mattress with topper perfectly. I also like that the pillow cases fold over so you don’t see the pillow inside- that’s a nice touch! Cons: because they are so thick and heavy they take quite a while to dry and have a tendency to ball up in the dryer. They wash best if you wash the top sheet and bottom sheet separate from each other and with other items like towels, etc. I purchased in white but they are getting a little dingy so I would like to find them in another color. Overall, I am very happy with these sheets. It is hard to find quality items that are durable in these throw-away times.
