Received them quickly. They were VERY simple to assemble. I’m 6’3”, 225, so I’m not used to things fitting my body well, or feeling sturdy. These chairs are sturdier than expected, and are more comfortable than expected. Another bonus, because of the narrow slats on the back, the light passes through them. I didn’t realize until I set these up, how dark that area of my room was. In part because the chairs I replaced had tall solid backs, casting large shadows in an area already struggling to get light. These chairs have exceeded my expectations and solved a problem I didn’t realize I had! A ridiculously good deal for the price! Would absolutely buy again! (…and probably will) ... show more

We ordered 2 sets of 2 chairs for a total for four chairs for our 36” oak pedestal table, for our breakfast nook, that was purchased second hand. I was very hesitant to spend a ton of money on a cheaply made, hunk of modern garbage, and I’m so glad I bought these because they are definitely a few steps above that without being overpriced. We purchased each set for $125, they are currently listed for $133 rather than the “original” price of $238. They have some wood grain effect to them in the right light, which helps them look a little nicer than they probably are- but don’t get me wrong they are very nicely made. The seat and back come assembled and the legs are color coded and screwed into their appropriate place. The piece you screw the leg into is plastic but it is a substantial size and seems durable as it can be. The only thing I’d caution, is the listing says the weight capacity is 440lbs, HOWEVER, that combines the total of each set, which is actually 220 pounds per chair for the max capacity as stated in the directions in the box. My husband sits in these and they are handling him well at 250 pounds. I’m very pleased and can see these lasting quite some time. ... show more

Annoyed with the packaging, it was pretty beat up inside, pieces of styrofoam everywhere. But the chairs are cute, easy to put together. Seem sturdy. I didn’t read instructions and started putting legs on the chairs, ended up wobbly and realized there are two different length of legs for the front/back ha so had to redo them all. ... show more

I bought six of these because they look beautiful and while they are just as beautiful in person, the quality doesn’t match the aesthetic! After less than a month of having these one of the legs completely broke off while my husband (who is 50lbs under the weight limit) was sitting in it. I got a replacement and one day after shipping back the first broken chair another chair broke!! So 2 out of 6 have broken in a month! Not very good odds. On a side note, they aren’t very sturdy. My children are guilty of sitting on the edges of the chairs and with these my four year old has fallen over in them multiple times. My suggestion: keep looking! ... show more

I ordered these chairs after we custom built our dining table. I don’t want to spend $600 on chairs right now. I would say that these chairs are on the smaller side. Definitely not a strong sturdy chair like I was hoping. They came out of the box with a few small chips, which shows the bright white underneath. About 3 weeks later there’s already deep scratches on the top of one of the seats. I would not order these again. If you’re looking for something low in price and decent enough to hold you over until you can find higher quality chairs, then these will work but I don’t think these will last more than a year. ... show more

These black wooden chairs are great for the price. They pair perfectly with our 48” round table and are surprisingly very comfortable to sit in. The seat has indentions for your bum and the back support rounds your back. My husband and daughter put all 4 together in about 15 minutes. The only flaw worth mentioning is they do have some character that has been painted over so don’t except them to be flawless. There was one little spot we had to color in with a black sharpie but again, for the cost of 2– they are just what we were looking for!
