Is this the finest of rugs? No but it is damn good for the price! It looks fantastic, settled down flat really well after some manipulation and pulling, and is quite soft to the touch. Nice area rug looks great!People on here was saying thin and wouldn't lay down,that is not accurate,it is just as thick as all other non shag rugs. It looks very nice and just as nice as the rugs at Walmart store I would have had to pay over 100 for a similar rug at Walmart store.

We love the beauty of the rug. It was a huge effort to get it to lay flat however. I would have given it 5 stars were it not for the condition in which these rugs arrive. The shipper would be smart to even charge a bit more for the rug, in order to ship it on a roll. Leaving rugs like this folded up for so long almost ruins the rug. Or causes returns. We had to open it up and leave it to settle for a couple days. Then we rolled it up, as recommended for 2 more days. Then we vacuumed it and steamed it. There were still ripples that wouldn’t lay flat. We then applied several full length strips of carpet tape to the back side. Lastly, we put the mattress and box spring on top of the rug to put weight on it for 2 more days. A full week to get it acceptable for use!! The weight helped get a strong bond with the tape… which finally resolved the ripples. So don’t try to fix it without the tape!! It will help resolve risk of risking tripping on it as well! If we didn’t like the rug so much we would have returned it. Exhausted. ... show more

    • This is a good rug if you plan on getting a better quality one in the future.

I purchased three different sizes of this area rug. A 2.6'X4'. 2.6"x6", and the 8"X10" and for the price of the rugs they are pretty decent. I have hardwood floors in my apartment, and I didn't want to go out and spend the $400 bucks for a nice one just yet. So, I got these, and they look pretty nice, and they serve their purpose pretty well but nothing extraordinary. Pretty much what you would expect for price of it. They're soft and so far, I believe that they are pretty durable, but you can tell that edge of the rug is fabric wrapped and weaved around cardboard but if you're not looking too closely you wouldn't be able to tell. I would suggest getting Non-Slip Rug Stickers for them also because they have no traction whatsoever. Over-all a decent rug but definitely nothing for long term use. I can see these maybe only lasting two to three years or so. ... show more
