Lavazza is my second favorite coffee sold on amazon. I do prefer Pete’s but cost does make a difference. When you can get either at an affordable price, just do it. The coffee is smooth and full flavored.

Lavazza coffee is well known and much loved brand. The issue is with the packing of ground coffee in a paper shipping envelope. The coffee is sold in a soft foil type pouch typically used for ground coffee and was received with the packages smashed inside the outer envelope. Fortunately, the inner packages were not ruptured. By no means am I a coffee aficionado. I was searching for a light roast decaf and found this. Just having my first cup- it does taste smooth. A little nutty, no bitterness. Just what I was looking for. I added a little 2% milk, will splurge with heavy cream in my next cup. Ok, that is pretty darn good. It feels less astringent in my mouth than my usual Starbucks Veranda. I think, for people who drink coffee for something to do, aren’t nuts over it, it’s a great choice.
