Well it was packed nice, as they all are. But when I went to unroll it my heart dropped...the diamonds on the carpet are larger and spaced further apart than pictured. It isn't as plush as the others I ordered, but I didn't want this one to plush because of the size. I haven't had to clean it or know of the stain resistance yet. The rug is soft enough without being too cushy, it is not 'plush' rug, but that is what we wanted. It has quality colors and no flaws that I can see. Regarding the rug right out of the packaging... it did have a plastic smell and curling edges when I initially unwrapped it like other reviewers have written about... BUT have patience my friends... After an evening of sitting heavy things on the curling edges, the rug was completely flat and the smell was completely gone. I lay on it all the time with my dog and I don't smell anything. I could not find a rug this size for under like $90. Even when I went to Walmart, their patterns were less cute and rugs 5 ft. x 7 ft. were like $75-$80. Under $70 for a trendy quality rug in this size? Unbeatable! I will deal with plastic smell for a few hours to not spend $300 on a rug. ... show more
