This is a great quality rug! I included a close up photo of the detail, when I opened it I was concerned because there’s many more colors - not just rust but the overall design and color of the rug really is a rust/orange. I painstakingly spent hours over the course of a month looking at rugs, going to stores, looking online, and then I thought I wanted another one and then read about the chemicals used in some rugs that are toxic (polypropylene) and had to completely start over because I was not having my 8 months old on toxic carpet. Full disclosure, I’m a first time mom, so give me a break, I want the best for her. So I found this one that was hand woven and doesn’t use that chemical and we loved the design. It immediately laid flat when unrolled, feels high quality and heavy duty, and hides all the hair we were seeing from our two cats (black and orange). Easy to vacuum and safe for our daughter to learn to crawl on. My only complaint is that the color is more orange than I was expecting but I’m still sticking with it. And the teal blue matches my grandfather’s antique chairs, so that’s a plus. ... show more

Wool rug versus all the synthetics out there - definitely an upgrade for a reasonable price. Looks expensive, soft on the feet, the pattern adds interest to the room. Love it!

I like the look of the rug overall and the build quality seems good, but, as some other review have mentioned, it does smell (I assume this will dissipate over time) and, most importantly, it is rather rough under foot. I go barefoot in the house, so underfoot feel is very important to me. This, unfortunately, does not fit the bill. My search continues. ... show more
