    • Buyer Beware - Bed & Seller are no good!

Boy, when people say, "Buyer Beware", they mean it. Please don't listen to 5-star reviews; trust me, I always do, and this one let me down badly. I decided to buy it, and let me tell you, this bed is a WASTE. My brother and I were putting it together, the bed frame was so flimsy and didn't click properly into place, so he had to shave down some of it to make it work. On top of that, when he screwed in the LED lights at the top, the wooden part warped outwards, towards the outside of the bed, so it's clearly visible that it's warped. One of the drawers was missing the middle bar, the drawers are not held in place, and if you have wooden floors, get ready to have scarred ankles. You cannot put small things in it; you have to tape it to the bed, or it opens at night, and you'll be scraping against it or stepping in it. Get this, the LED lights worked the first night, I disconnected them to charge my phone then connected them back, the LED's won't work anymore. The mattress is supposed to stay in place, it doesn't, and the one thing I hate the most, the pillows falling behind the bed, happens every night, yet my mattress is King size, the SAME size as the frame. Before I decided to keep it, I had put in a return request; the shipping cost is paid by the buyer, and it costs more than what the bed frame is worth. The person who sold it he/she don't respond AT ALL, and the phone number on the return label doesn't work. I wish Amazon would instead credit me for the product and contact this seller to get their money back because the bed is NOT worth it. I am actually planning on letting this be the "one thing" I wasted money on this year, and being more savvy next year when it comes to purchasing a bed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BED OR SELLER! The one thing I do like about the bed is the height, which helps my chunky dog get on/off of it but other than that, it's not that great of a bed. Oh, and get this... Decently easy to put together it took my husband around 2 hours to finish. Some of the bolts wouldn’t align but eventually got them to work. The drawers don’t exactly fit correctly. Most likely a problem with measurements but not too noticeable. The drawers are smaller than expected but still fairly big. ... show more

I gave this five stars because I read the reviews that said it wasn’t sturdy or it was hard to put together but I did not find that to be the case. It took two of us about an hour or so to put together and it’s pretty sturdy. We like the light feature and the outlet on the headboard.

If you’re looking for a bed with storage underneath, spend a few more bucks and get yourself a better quality bed. I am very generous with 3 stars here. I am giving it 3 stars only because of its low pricing. 1) The bed itself: There is no wood in this bed. It’s painted plastic (or something equivalent to it) panels and a metal frame (refer to pictures). The bed itself (NOT including the under bed storage drawers) is poorly designed but is durable enough. The head board lights up and the remote control works great, but there is no back panel to it, which is a major flaw (refer to pictures). You can’t push the headboard flat against the back wall because of the baseboard on your floors (refer to pictures). Also the headboard itself is about half a foot deep. The middle board of the head board does not go all the way down to the bed frame, so there is a huge gap between the wall and the mattress (refer to pictures). Pillows and a kid’s head falls right through it at night. I cannot put my 4 y o to sleep on this bed. It’s for my 7 y o. She doesn’t move as much at night so it’s safer for her. Also, the remote control or anything else you want to leave on the head board can fall right off of it on all 3 sides. There is no side panel to this headboard either (refer to pictures). Other than those flaws the bed is fine for the price, but dangerous for little kids. 2) Storage drawers: absolutely useless! Worse than not having them at all! They are so flimsy that they literally keep falling apart every single day from just being pulled out once or twice. The inside of the drawers is a metal mash. Big things won’t fall through, but anything smaller, doll’s clothes, pencils, smaller toys will fall right through (refer to pictures). The sides, bottom and back of the drawer is held together by flimsy little plastic clips that neither hold it together tight nor stay clipped. They constantly fall off and the drawers literally fall apart, collapse (refer to pictures). I will re-tie them up with wires, because those plastic clips do not hold at all! The wheels on the bottom of drawers also fall off so much that I had to remove them all together. The drawers just sit on the floor now. But that’s not a very good solution either, because there is no rim for these drawers built into the bed frame, so the drawers have nothing to catch onto and are just swimming there under the bed (refer to pictures). You are literally better off just tossing those drawers into a dumpster and putting baskets or boxes under there to hold your stuff.
