Oh My this is everything the photos showed it would be. It is hard to decide which side to show. I thought I would have the "Lighter" side always showing, but the other side....yes fell in love with it too at first so both sides were equally beautiful to Me. Wanting to go a lighter coloring of things....I found Myself bestowing the darker side with the brilliant colors for it too is just absolutely Beautiful & Radiant...!!! It's amazing to find such a work of Art that you cannot decide which side you want to show to anyone who comes visiting...!!! And yes it is very warm. I've found for Me...a sheet with this blanket is all that I need....it's perfect for how "cold" I like to keep My place with being able to get under the snug warmth of My covers....makes for Great Nights Restful Sleep....!!! Is it worth the price of $65.00's....oh heck yes....!!!!!!! Oh...the texture.....sure many are wanting to know this....it is "Luxurious". I'm truly shocked it is so incredibly soft as it is "heavy".....& the right kind of heavy. One does not want a blanket that is so heavy it causes strangulation so a person has to keep it around the armpits. If I were to ever have to go to the Hospital...that is the blanket I'm taking with Me.....knowing full well...those whom I'm thinking of....are right there with Me....what else could matter more??!! Thus I tell you....the dark colors are bright....& the Bright Colors just emanates...you will be very with this piece. So listen to the buyers, not the sellers, & go with what We Are-I Am telling You...!!!! Best way to sum it up....It Is....Brilliantly Luxurious...!!! Can I have another puullleeeeeeeeeezzzzze..!!!!!???! :-D ;-)

The blanket is beautiful and so soft!! Absolutely no smell at all! I gave it 4 stars because there were white sewing threads left in multiple places that were not clipped that I had to clip but other than that small issue I love the blanket!! It’s a great value for the money. Not quite as thick as I thought it would be but it’s still cozy and warm. It’s a great size for me, I’m short so wanted a throw blanket that would literally cover me from head to toe. Haven’t washed it yet so hoping it will hold up and last me along time!! Love the color and the softness!!

3 stars because I feel the listing is misleading. I wanted to purchase the blanket that had the black stitched border. But if you scroll through the pictures on the few blankets that show the black border, they have other photos thrown in there (same color and style) without the border. I feel that sets the buyer up to think they will get the initial blanket pictured, but what they send is a blanket made from two pieces of fabric sewn together from the inside. I selected the specific blankets due to wanting the blanket initially pictured with the black bordering. If I would have known they don't have that particular blanket, I would have chosen different color blankets over what I got. The blanket is soft and it is very warm and time will tell how well it holds up.
