What a fantastic bird feeder! It’s beautiful, and has large compartments for two different types of seeds that are so easy to fill. It’s sturdy and has no problem with a bunch of birds perching all at once. The app itself is user friendly and seriously fun! Love that it helps me keep track of what birds have come to the feeder with pics and videos. It’s great at helping me identify birds that I don’t know, which is very helpful since I’m not an avid birder. The kids love it too and I like that they’ve become involved and interested in the different types of birds and which birds will eat which seeds. The App has a super cute seed/point system that allows you to hatch different birds and dress them in different accessories, which my kids really enjoy.

I will start by saying the bird feeder itself is really nice. It was easy to set up and feels sturdy. The camera is easy to install and charged pretty quickly on an older USB charging brick. Here's the reason for the one star. You cannot view any pictures on their app without a subscription ($60 annually). This is a $180 bird feeder. Why can't I at least view pictures via the app? Such a scam. I would understand limiting live streaming or utilizing the AI features for a premium; but basic image viewing? Ridiculous. I'd you don't mind paying extra or are an avid bird watcher then this probably isn't a major turn off. But for the casual backyard bird enjoyer, the annual subscription is a scummy money grab. Buyer be warned.

This bird feeder is amazing!!! One of the best thing I’ve ever bought!!! The pictures are super clear. You do have to pay for a membership to get all the features but I don’t do it. I just enjoy the pictures. The membership allows you to download the videos but that’s too expensive in my opinion.

This bird feeder is awesome! Setting up is a breeze and the app works great. It feels really sturdy as well. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. Also the solar panel is so sweet. I haven’t had to charge the battery at all yet and it was out for months before I brought it in to clean it. As long as it gets a little sunlight you won’t have to worry about the battery at all. I get great pictures every day. Now I just have to figure out how to deter the squirrels!

ve gone through a couple of different camera feeders, but the FeatherSnap is easily my favorite. The picture quality is surprisingly sharp you can see every little detail on the birds. The bird book feature is fun and keeps an inventory on what you've seen. The best part is the notification system. It’s smart enough to tell the difference between a bird and a swaying branch, so my phone isn't buzzing constantly for no reason. It’s also built really solid; it survived a heavy storm recently without any issues. The solar roof does a great job of keeping it charged, so I don't have to keep taking it down to plug it in. If you’re looking for a reliable way to see your backyard birds up close, this is definitely worth it.
