Love my new Sonix S140 Next Generation power chair. If I have anything bad to say about it, I would have to say it is the weight. I cannot load this into my car's trunk. My husband has to do it. I wouldn't be able to go anywhere by myself with the chair. Most of my review is positive. It came 2 days earlier than the stated timeframe. My husband and I together unloaded it from the box. It opens up easily, not quite in 3 seconds as advertised as it takes holding it in two places and using a bit of arm strength to push it into open position. It wasn't an unreasonable amount of effort though. There is definitely a learning curve and as I use it more and more, I am getting much better at going through doorways. The joystick is highly responsive. I have no problem turning tightly to get around corners. Still need more experience going through doorways, especially at places like doctor offices and getting on and off of elevators. I love the fact that it came with two batteries, which can be hooked up together with the Y-adaptor that comes inside the under seat storage bag. There were a number of adjustment tools in that bag. A lot of people might not realize these are under there, along with the charger, which charges the batteries directly or charges the batteries through a port on the joystick. There is a button you can push on the joystick controller that is marked SOS. It has a voice that calls out to anyone within earshot, "Help, help," There is a seatbelt but I have not used it as I want to be able to escape the chair if a situation ever occurred where I would be injured stay on the chair. I will say that it will only go up to 4 mph and slows down automatically when the batteries show the red light and 3 green lights. There is no way that I could get 30 miles off a single charge unless maybe running off of one battery at a time rather than having two of them hooked up together. I charge it any time it gets down to the red light and two green lights, just to make sure it never runs too low. It takes about a week of riding it for about a mile a day (I go with my husband and our dog on what we call a "death march," of a mile so our young dog will lower her energy level so she will settle down when it's time for bed as she sleeps on the bed with us). Overall, I am extremely happy with the chair. I don't know how hard it will be if and when it needs service. I will have to wait and see. Some things I can probably fix myself as I am mechanically-skilled having been a computer repair tech as well as working on my own cars. If you are looking for a chair that has a lot of torque for going through grass, and up hilly areas. It does have a limit of 12% grade for climbing and slows down considerably at such inclines. It also is a weird sensation when riding on a sidewalk and coming across one of those angled driveways that makes you feel like you are going to tip sideways as you are riding. That, along with crowned roads that slant to the right for water runoff, are difficult to maneuver as the chair likes to turn toward the right and you have to compensate by turning left. That is not the chair's fault. It is the city or county road department's fault as they do not take into consideration that disabled people will be maneuvering their wheelchairs, scooters, or their mobility trikes along these avenues of travel for us. The best advice I can give is to practice, practice, and most of all...practice. it will only help you be better and operating this wonderful chair. BTW, I got the one with the blue leather cushions. Can sit on this for many hours at a time. Both arms lift up and out of the way so you can pull up to a table.

You will like this one,but only if you do not have unrealstic expectations. It is kinda heavy, 0ver 60 lbs. But this is a added safety becasue it will not roll when you stop and turn off the power. Operating the joy stick will take practice and focus. For some this may be too hard to master. Excellent for small spaces! Just got mine but the more I use it , the more I like it! I make full use of the joy stick charger , charge it while sitting at my computer desk,which I spend most of my day. Cannot comment on parts or service yet. Though. But ease of use makes it a good choice.

The chair is great, but as it says batteries 60lbs. It’s heavy but the battery is long running. Runs pretty well on rugged terrain, but you need high power.

The media could not be loaded. Update: the 360 turning radius is spot on! I have been using it on and off for two weeks now and still 100% happy. The battery indicator has not moved yet. I have had many complements on it as I ride it around. I am shocked how easy it is to open and close. I see weak and can do it. Got my chair today. So far it love it. Rolls very easy. Folds and unfolds supper easy. Removing the battery to charge was super easy or you can charge it by the arm. The seat and feet rest very comfortable. Feels very sturdy. The thing I was surprised with is, when it's folded up it sets on four wheels even though they're small it moves really easy. This is me moving it with one hand.  This is a photo of the wheels and I do have some small rugs and it will go up over them, but using two hands The noise you hear is, the no flip stabilizers on the floor, as I was turning it with one hand and videoing it kind of leaned on one. It does not make this noise normally. BUY this one. It's spot on with the joystick. Not catchy or anything. So easy to turn in a small and I mean small circle. I was able to turn around in this small kitchen with smooth non scary action. I posted a photo of my small kitchen of my park model I turned around In. Wow! Im so impressed.

Nicely built, I need to go try the joystick out. Extremely HEAVY, I don't know how im going to get this in and out of my car by myself. They really should have someone elderly or weaker showing them picking this thing up and loading it.

This wheelchair was awesome right out of the box. Almost completely assembled and charged battery. I was riding in it 15 minutes after opening the box. Delivery was fast . Takes a few minutes to get used to driving but within 10 minutes I felt proficient with its operation. Very stylish looking and sturdy. Operates very smoothly in both electric and manual mode. Wheelchair looks to be a quality wheelchair. I will update after I have had for a while to address durability. The only downside I can see is that it is kind of heavy, especially since my wife has to load it in the car. We bought some inexpensive ramps and we will see if that makes it easier.

I have had this wheelchair for a few months now and wanted to wait to write a review until I knew everything about the chair. First of all my chair is absolutely amazingly adorable. The battery is last a very long time and because I can get both of them under my chair I have never been stranded. I am a heavier person and I still managed to zip around very easily. I would definitely order from them again in the future and would recommend getting your chair here I read a million reviews before ordering a chair and settled on this one and I'm very glad I did.
