I am going to review this for 2 types of people. 1 review for the average person who wants a pool table. The second, for someone who plays pool on leagues and takes it a bit more seriously than others. I will also list the pros and cons in general of the table at the end. I have had this table a week and have shot around 40-50 racks on it so far. For average play: great table for the price, looks nice and plays well. I got the grey and black because this is in my living room of my apartment which is a 16 by 12 room. I have to use a shorter stick when balls are on the rails on the long side, but other than that, I have plenty of room. It is better than some bar slate tables to be honest. Would be great in a basement, man cave, she shed, or even apartment (I bought the 7 foot table). Was packaged well, arrived with no damage and simple to assemble. Directions said you need 4 people, I did it with me and someone else, but it is heavy and we did have to put muscle into moving it and flipping it. Set up took around 45min-1Hr. Leveling on carpet was a pain, but overall, 5 stars. For people who take pool a bit more seriously: (3.75-4 stars). Again, like I said for average person, it’s a great table for price point and if you are looking to get better at pool and just get a cheap starter table it isn’t bad. But, it does play differently than slate. Bank and kick shots, the ball dies quick, so you have to hit it hard. The felt is completely different than any other table I’ve played on, it is like soft and silky almost, and it isn’t super durable. I went to a craft store and got a 1/8 of a yard of grey fabric and cut it into 8 squares to use it under my cue ball when I break, because I did put a small knick in the felt. The rails are thin and so are the jaws, so you won’t get as many misses compared to most bar tables. If you hit the ball too soft on a long shot, it will slightly curve abnormally. I did level my table, and it still does it slightly. If you have the money, buy a slate table. If you don’t, this is better than the foldable tables offered on Amazon and I’d say still get it because you will improve on aim, stroke, etc. I looked at this table all over to see if I’ll ever be able to re felt when I need to, and it looks like that answer is probably a no, unless I want to go through an extremely tedious process and risk damaging it. I attached photos of the table and the felt where I put the knick, and a video of a bank shot, so you can see how the ball moves. I was hoping someone made a video of how the ball moves on the table and I couldn’t find one, so I figured I’d be the first in case others are curious. Pros: looks nice, bar table size, easy to assemble, can adjust to make level, portable, can fit in apartments (7 foot), good beginner table. Cons: cannot replace the felt with ease, felt is fragile and can damage easily, rails are thin and are kinda dead, jaws are small, pain to level on carpet, abnormal rolls when the cue ball is hit too softly on long shots. Bonus: MONEY SAVING TIP! If you need a pool light and don’t wanna break the bank, don’t buy a “pool light”. They are easily $100-250. Instead, buy a 4-5ft utility light that hangs with chains. They are only $15-30 on Amazon. Way cheaper and works the same. Anyway, I hoped this helps! ... show more

Love it not too big great for the garage. Good for parties easy to put together a little heavy to do it by yourself. Parents is great easy to move with two people. Buy a cover definitely separate. The appearance is great. It’s beautiful good color. I got the gray and black one.

    • Table is decent, but delivery process needs work

I bought the 8-foot table. The playing area measures 41-1/2” by 86-1/2”. This is well below the standard 44x88 and also not in the standard 2:1 proportion. Still, at the price, I guess it’s acceptable. A problem arose with the delivery. I paid $20 for “delivery to any room”. Amazon did not contact me to plan for the delivery and therefore the delivery team showed up unaware of the delivery requirements. I needed the table delivered to the room at the top of my stairs to the second floor. They were hesitant to assist in getting the table there as, again, they seemed unaware of what they were supposed to do or that they were required by the terms of sale to deliver it where I wanted it. I convinced them to help my son and me in getting it up the stairs, but considerable damage to the house trim occurred in the process. Note that I think the delivery team did a great job considering they were sent out by Amazon unaware of what they needed to do. I would think twice before relying on Amazon’s offer of any-room delivery for $20 on a pool table or other large heavy item, especially if you are looking for upstairs delivery. Assembly is straightforward but requires at least 3 strong people to do correctly because you must not place the entire weight of the table on the edge of two legs as you stand the table upright. My son and I attempted this (admittedly against the instructions’ warning) by ourselves and broke one of the legs as we stood the table up. It wasn’t hard to fix the leg, but be aware that this warning exists because the leg design is of the poorest quality (not a surprise at this price point). The table plays well enough. The felt is fairly fast and the rails provide good bounce. All in all, it’s a good addition to our rec room, but I would have preferred a better coordinated and planned delivery. ... show more

    • Nice bargain alternative to a high dollar slate table

It's a cheaper yet perfectly acceptable alternative to a higher priced table. It may not be made as well, considering the entire thing is essentially particle board, but it performs as well as any table ive played on. I say particle board but its a denser, more durable press board than you'd see used on cheap furniture youd find at your local Waldosworld. The felt is high quality and the rails perform surprisingly well. All around impressed with it ... show more

Be careful, these are not built sturdy. I’m handicap so I paid a company to move and setup the pool table after it was delivered, we noticed damage to the box and when we opened the box we realized it had damage. It seemed cosmetic but once setup realized the middle of the pool table has a sag and can’t be leveled. Tried to get a refund and they couldn’t pick up with my schedule so instead they gave me $200 back, mind you the model I got was the $799 one plus I paid another $450 to have it moved and setup 🤦♂️ ... show more

    • Soft rails

Overall a pretty good product. The only thing is the bumper rails are soft so when you’re trying to do a bank shot as long as you hit it soft the trajectory is correct but if you hit it hard due to the soft rails it changes the trajectory of the ball.
