Edit: shortly after writing this review I received an email from a manager at windone, offering to just send me a new bicycle completely free of charge, and without having to exchange it for the old broken one. I really did enjoy riding the bike, my initial review was purely based on the bike having a defective part, not anything to do with the bikes performance while it was running. Even though the technical difficulties with the first one were frustrating and there was a lot of back and forth, you can definitely count on their customer service to make things right in the end, and this gesture from the manager went above and beyond my expectations. Throttle on bike stopped working after using it a handful of times and only owning it for a little over a month When I got in touch with customer service they wanted to send me a new throttle and have me take the bike to a bike shop to get the throttle installed and reimburse me $30 for the installation which i guess is a nice enough gesture but I dont believe $30 would cover an entire wiring/throttle issue on a random amazon ebike and I dont understand why I paid extra for a coverage plan if im just going to have to drag a 50 pound bike to a repair shop anyway. $400 isn't expensive for an electric bike but its expensive enough that it should last longer than a a few rides. ... show more

So after getting it, assembling it and giving it a test ride around the neighborhood.. I like it. Not hard to assemble either. I will say, the tires are a bit flat but duh, that's a bike.. if you've purchased a Walmart mongoose before, you know the tighten your bolts and fill your tires.. same here. In my case, everything came pretty tightened, just make sure of it as you go. Traditional bike seat, hard, a tad uncomfortable but hey, it's a bike seat. Oh.. and the peddles... yessir, old school peddles so WATCH YOUR ANKLES lol. Overall.. not bad at all. Looks nice. Not too big, not super small.. im about 200lbs and it pulls me up a decent incline pretty well. ... show more

My son has had this bike less than 1 month. He is 13 and weighs less than 100 lbs. he rides it up and down our dead end paved street, no tricks, no jumps ect. Just up and down. The chain at first kept coming off then while riding it broke completely causing him to FLIP off! Luckily of course he was wearing protective gear but cheese and rice talk about dangerous! The bike is only as strong as its weakest link and BABY it snapped. Not to mention I had to fight with amazing because they lost the first bike and had to order a replacement. ... show more

Oh what a joy! After an injury sidelined me and not being able to walk for any duration without pain, my beach waking days were turned sedentary sorting shells/scanning for shark teeth. NOT ANYMORE! This has allowed me even more freedom and joy than I expected. Sunrise to Sunset beach fun,or visits to the local park have returned with no need to rent a scooter.
